This is a beautifully restored antique factory cart/industrial cart coffee table. It is fully restored but still shows the character and signs from years of service! It makes a great conversation piece for any living room. It came out of an early 1900s factory in North Carolina. A center of furniture production in the 19th and 20th centuries. These carts transported furniture and furniture parts around the factory. This cart comes with solid wood top. It also comes with original restored cast iron. It measures approx. 48" x 30" x 16" height.

Industrial Railroad Lineberry Factory Cart Wormy Chestnut The wide board on our carts make them great for coffee tables. This one has a four board top. The to p is smooth to the touch. Unfortunately. The oak top and frame on th i s cart was not able to be restored. So we made a beautiful wormy chestnut top from 100 year old barn wood. And a frame from clear red oak barn wood. Both the wormy chestnut and the red oak are absolutely amazing! Walnut pegs cover the fasteners. The iron and fasteners are original and have been completely restored. The photos show the actual carts that we are selling. We photograph each cart as we list it. No end-to-end rocking: These carts were designed and built to be used in factories. They are solid and strong. But they rock end-to-end. This is actually part of their design. It made them easier to roll over the ... moreuneven surfaces of a factory floor. It's a good design for a factory, but bad for a table. So. We fix the rocking by adding an improved set screw to each end-wheel and ship a wrench with the cart so you can adjust the table just the way you want it. Not every cart on ebay has a durable fix for this. Look carefully. Authentic Lettering: Our lettering is authentic. LINEBERRY N. WILKESBORO. N.C. appears on both sides of the cart. Superior Restoration Process: the iron was c arefully cleaned. Buffed, and given a clear coat. The fasteners(nuts, bolts, and washers) were each individually hand-cleaned and buffed. The chestnut and oak were cleaned. Milled, and given several coats of a durable satin finish. A furniture-grade paste wax was added to the wooden parts for extra protection. No wax has been added to the iron wheels which come in contact with the floor. It's a perfect finish for a coffee table. The underside of the cart has been cleaned, sanded, and sealed.
