GRAND ANTIQUE ORNATE CARVED WOOD LARGE 6 FT FIREPLACE SCREEN PIER MIRROR FRAME
ASOLUTELY STUNNING AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! We are pleased to offer this antique. Solid, carved wood fireplace screen frame. The frame is masterfully carved. The designs are not glued pieces, they are carved into the frame. The frame has 7sections. The top, two side frame pieces, and the bottom frame piece. There are also two side attachements with a bottom cross piece. Additionally, there are 4 arched feet. The frame featues exceptionally ornate and intricately carved wood. The top of the frame has very detailed leave and acorn carved design. This"headpiece" has an ornate arched lower section which is incised in a diamond design. Inside the diamonds are notches which make up 4 petaled flowers. A faux twist rope pattern is carved on the border. This topper is one piece of wood and attaches to the side frames at the upper ... morecorners(see photo12) The side frames are also incised/carved with overlapping leaves as well as the diamond cross hatched pattern. They are connected to side columns with dowls(there are no nail or screw holes present) The side columns feature turned wood with a gorgeous. Flower accent. The side columns continue to the ornate feet of the screen. The feet extend the same in the front and the back. They feature carved wood leaves with a bottom, carved flower. The feet are connected with a cross frame piece that is carved in an egg and dart design. The frame is exquisite. It is all carved with only 4 overlay pieces. These pieces are located at each corner. They are carved shells and are a much lighter colored wood. I am not exactly certain as to the type of wood. It is finished in a medium to darker brown stain. The four shell overlays are a golden colored wood. The frame is in extremely nice condition with very few dings or scratches. It has been beautifully preserved. This very large and very ornate frame at one time housed a lovely tapestry but it is gone. It would make a fantastic standing room divider/dressing screen or an amazing mirror frame. Beautiful antique sled. Fabricated in the early 1900's originally as a horse drawn sled. I purchased this 20 years ago from an antique dealer to use in my great room as a cocktail table. This piece is in excellent condition with a rich history from the Michigan Buggy Co. Original manufacturer's plate is mounted on one of the front slats. Solid piece- made of wood and metal, all original parts.

What a lucky little girl, to have such a wonderful, carefully constructed place to rest her dollies when playing with them. The workmanship needed to create and execute the intricate filigree design is mind boggling! Please see the photos to see what is beyond words to describe. The mattress is removable, with a fabric cover, and a different fabric tacked on, covering the underside. The slats that hold the mattress are dovetailed at the ends to match the rests created for them along the side rails. Amazing! The bed measures approx. 20.25" by 12.75" by 10.25" There are some bits that have broken off through the life of this gem. And there is glue at the ends all of the cross slats. The foot of the bed shows a repair to the leg, and the fabric is yellowed and less than bright and new. The under fabric has dark stains, as visible in the photos. Bottom wicker shelf measures 12 1/2" high measures from floor. Original 22" diameter 10 spoke wood wheels with black hard rubber tires. One of the wood spokes in one of the wood wheel has split and has been repair with brass wire casing. See additional photo for detail of repair. I am proud to be offering for your consideration this antique American victorian black walnut marble top shaving stand circa 1870. This piece was just found in the attic of an old southern NH home. It's all original including finish. The marble is also original but has some damage(see photos) This shaving stand measures 16 1/2" X 19" and is in very nice condition. Made of solid black walnut with no breaks in the legs. A very nice fancy pedestal base. The drawer has original brass escutcheon and lock- pinned dovetails. This model originally had a mirror that stood on a pole through the marble top and height was adjusted from the back. Someone has filled the hole in the marble but it could easily be removed. This is a great piece but is missing its mirror, selling for less than half its value! Large 48" round brass tray has a hanger on the back so it can be wall-displayed. It can also be utilized as a table top. Coffee or dining. Antique early syroco lectern podium restaurant reservation book stand. This appears to be their early wares which they started around 1890. Making large items and architectural ornamentation. The work surface is walnut and the rest is early dense composition. It is not signed but syroco was the only one making items out of this material in that era. It has an early P&S socket of unusual shape as seen in picture. The cord was frayed so I cut it off. The socket comes off with a rosette on the back. The pedestal comes apart with screws to rewire it. I had it all apart and there are no issues. It is heavy and it weighs 42 pounds. It measures 43 1/2 inches to the lowest part of the work surface and 54 inches to the very top of the lamp. It also has 2 slots for cards or other items. It is all in good condition with no damage.
