This is a rare and beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak mirror with original hat hooks. And in very good original condition considering the age. Original mirror, beveled glass, Overall dimensions 28" tall by 36-1/2" Wide; the mirrored area is 23-1/2" wide x 19" tall. Some of the silvering is gone from the back of the plate glass that is the actual mirror itself and you can see dark blotches in the back. Typical of an 1800's piece. There are also a few imperfections in the mirror glass, a sign that the glass itself is original. There are also a few marks from wear on the wood and glass, which you would also expect from a mirror of this age.
