Vintage Furniture: Dining or Kitchen Set- Stickley- Drop Leaf Table& 4 Chairs- Solid Cherry- 1950's. This beautiful group was made by Stickley in the 1950's. It is all cherry. It’s a 5 piece set with a table and 4 chairs. Which can be used as a kitchen or dining room set. More information about each of these is included below. They are marked"Stickley- Fayetteville- Syracuse" I purchased the set from an antique store about 15 years ago and it cost about $3,000 back then(which is a lot more in today’s dollars) The only reason I am selling is that we are redecorating after moving to a new house and need something completely different. It was in very nice shape when we acquired it. And we treated everything well over the years, so there is probably less normal wear than usual for it’s age. Never-the-less, some signs of ... moreage and use are unavoidable, as described below. The main condition issue, however, is some recent damage from the movers(see below) I absolutely would have had it repaired except for the redecorating previously mentioned. Instead, I’ll just price the set on the low side and let the new owner take care of things as they wish. I can’t really ship this due to size and weight. But you can pick it up in Bean Station, Tennessee(less than 1 hour NE of Knoxville and 1 hour from the Smoky Mountains. a nice place to visit if you haven’t been here! If you change your mind when you see it there’s no obligation, of course. Here are more details: Dining Table- The table is rectangular with curved corners. It measures 60" 5' in length and 30" tall. It measures 48" 4' in width with both leaves up. Each side of the table has a 15" wide drop leaf that folds down. There are 2 flip out wings underneath each leaf to support it. Which fold out of the way when dropping the leaf. The table is 33" wide with one leaf down, and only 18" wide with both leaves down. There is a storage drawer at each end of the table that is built to match the angles of the table frame.

This is a reproduction of an Early American style tea cart. It was purchased in the 1960's. It features a dovetailed drawer. A Formica top and leaves. This item is in excellent original condition The measurements of this piece are 37" long x 19" wide(20" from wagon wheel to wagon wheel) When both drop leaves are open, table is 39.5 inches. Stamp on bottom indicates it was made in Rockingham, NC, but does not indicate by whom.

1918 Paalman Tea Cart Wagon Walnut Scalloped Glass Tray Drop Handle Leaf Drawer
Antique Paalman Furniture Co Walnut Finish Tea Cart Wagon(Pattern#502) This beautiful Antique Tea Cart has a drop down handle. 2 scalloped drop leaf panels, a velvet lined utensil drawer, a removable glass tray and a shelf on the bottom. The drop handle was patented in 1918, and became a signature of many Paalman pieces. I believe this cart was originally sold with a dark stain. On the inside of the wheels, you can see a hint of darker stain, as if it were refinished. It appears to be a medium colored wood with a clear stain on it, now. The cart itself was said to have been purchased new in the 1920's. Give or take. She said. Most tea carts of this age are missing the tire treads, the drawer and/or the removable glass tray. This piece still has almost the complete tread, the drawer, and the tray with the original glass. The front wheel ... moremechanisms are also still in working order. There are a few minor signs of wear. But overall, it is in excellent condition for the age of the piece. When I was researching this cart, the other carts I saw of the same age were not in this good of a condition. Measurements: When assembled. The top of the tray handle to the floor is 30 7/8" The removable tray(and top of the cart) is 26 1/8" wide x 16 1/8" deep The glass inset in the tray is 23 3/8" wide x 13 3/8" deep The handles on the tray are 6" wide x 1 1/2" high With the 2 leaves extended open.
