Hand Made, hand carved, not reproduction! These beautiful pieces are meticulously and intricately carved to a wonderful Indian theme. You are getting(1 unit) 4 panels total, all(brass) hinged together. Each panel is in very good condition, no warping, or cracks or chips. A few areas do show use, the lower 1 inch of three of the legs and one of the horizontal middle strut has some small dings in the carving. It is not noticeable from five feet away, only when your very close. On the brass side there are approximately 1,258 individual inlays and there a about 11 small pieces missing.On the white side there are over 3,322 little white resin inlays. they look like ivory from ... morea distance) very very pretty.Sorry to say but there are about 15 very small pieces missing of the white resin. So thats like 0.005% pieces that are missing. If you look closely in pictures you might notice the missing parts.The wood is a little dusty and would sparkle with an application of teak oil. There is normal wear and tear on this item for its age but still in excellent shape. These dividers are very heavy, on my scale it read 65 lbs. This is made out for wood and the images you see are carved into the cabinet and painted. Measures: The cabinet alone is- 15" x 20" x 12" When you place it on top of the table it is 26" height. ASOLUTELY STUNNING AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! We are pleased to offer this antique. Solid, carved wood fireplace screen frame. The frame is masterfully carved. The designs are not glued pieces, they are carved into the frame. The frame has 7sections. The top, two side frame pieces, and the bottom frame piece. There are also two side attachements with a bottom cross piece. Additionally, there are 4 arched feet. The frame featues exceptionally ornate and intricately carved wood. The top of the frame has very detailed leave and acorn carved design. This"headpiece" has an ornate arched lower section which is incised in a diamond design. Inside the diamonds are notches which make up 4 petaled flowers. A faux twist rope pattern is carved on the border. This topper is one piece of wood and attaches to the side frames at the upper ... morecorners(see photo12) The side frames are also incised/carved with overlapping leaves as well as the diamond cross hatched pattern. They are connected to side columns with dowls(there are no nail or screw holes present) The side columns feature turned wood with a gorgeous. Flower accent. The side columns continue to the ornate feet of the screen. The feet extend the same in the front and the back. They feature carved wood leaves with a bottom, carved flower. The feet are connected with a cross frame piece that is carved in an egg and dart design. The frame is exquisite. It is all carved with only 4 overlay pieces. These pieces are located at each corner. They are carved shells and are a much lighter colored wood. I am not exactly certain as to the type of wood. It is finished in a medium to darker brown stain. The four shell overlays are a golden colored wood. The frame is in extremely nice condition with very few dings or scratches. It has been beautifully preserved. This very large and very ornate frame at one time housed a lovely tapestry but it is gone. It would make a fantastic standing room divider/dressing screen or an amazing mirror frame. Unique Vintage Carved and Painted Wood Fire or Table Screen - 3 panels divider
You are bidding on a very unique vintage wooden fire screen or table screen that can be used to decorate any place. This is made of wood and is carved and painted in interesting patterns that are floral in nature. The screen is just shy of 2 feet tall and is about the same wide. It is solidly made and quite interesting and decorative and would look beautiful on a desk or cabinet or on the floor or on a table. The artistic style is quite interesting and modern in appearance. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Vintage Antique Rococo Style Italian Hand Carved Wood 5 Mini Display Shelves Brackets These Rococo style carved whitewashed& gilded wood Italian mini wall brackets are delightful. They are asymmetrical with dimensional curves galore. Scrollwork flourishes and acanthus leaves. Found at an estate auction, I am not sure of their age, but they are most likely early twentieth century. They all appear to have the original finish. With minor blemishes and are in sound condition. There is no evidence of repairs or breaks that I have noticed.but there is a slight discoloration from whatever was displayed on each shelf surface. Each has an eyelet fitting for hanging on the wall. Measurements are 4-1/4“width ... morex 4-7/8“high and each extends out 2-3/4” from the wall. Each shelf is 2-1/2" deep and weighs 2 ounces. ANTIQUE ARCHITECTURAL DAY BED FRAME FIREPLACE SCREEN DIVIDER CARVED WOOD DRAGONS
We are pleased to offer this very unique. Architectural salvaged daybed frame. This old(mid to late 1800s) 2 section piece would make a beautiful and interesting fireplace screen, room divider, wall hanging or accent floor piece. It is very nice with a tall plant behind it. It is a constructed of solid wood(oak? panels with a carved, arched top section. The ends of each upper frame feature VERY DETAILED, carved wood, dragon heads. The heads have carved eyes, ears, nostrils and large incisor teeth/fangs. The two panels were, at one time, painted. There is some remaining OLD paint but most of it has worn and the wood is a natural color in these areas. The panels are footed. The original, front facing foot is the only"whole" foot as the others were side or back feet so they have a"sliced" profile. The original bolts, attachment ... morelock, brackets and hinges are still in place but could be removed. The unit is in good condition. There is some wear to the carved dragons, particularly to the ears as a couple of them have chipped. This is not distracting. This is a gorgeous piece. We have the matching unit available under a separate listing. It is the same except that it does not have a front"whole" foot. The piece can be displayed with a straight profile or it can be positioned as an"L" shape. The hinges(which are hidden in between the panels) allow for the unit to be folded. The frame measures 49" wide and 27" tall. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. Shipping via GREYHOUND with insurance provided for you. Antique 1800's Victorian Ornate Carved Walnut Mantel Clock 17" Wood Wall Shelf
Up for auction with no reserve is an antique 1800's clock shelf. The shelf is made of walnut and is ornately carved. There is a board separation on the back that needs glued. There is some wear to the finish and nicks in the wood. It measures 17" in width by 8 3/4" in height by 5" in depth. I always combine shipping when I can safely do so. Rare Antique Heavily Carved Gothic English Wood Commode Toilet Cabinet Table
Really unusual antique toilet- commode- cabinet. I purchased several years ago from a local estate. Who ever originally owned this was fairly wealthy. Its one of the nicest I have ever seen. Its beautifully carved. It has 6 legs with original metal castors. The top has a thin drawer. The middle has a cabinet door. The lower portion pulls out to expose the holder for the chamber pot. Its really a wonderful piece. Also a very interesting piece. Its in fair to good condition. The cabinet door is missing one knob. There are 4 cracks in the left side. 1 crack in the right side. 4 cracks in the back side. A crack in the front cabinet door. It possibly had a backsplash at one time. There is lacquer check. There are several chips here and there. The chamber pot hole cover is missing an edge. Its very sturdy but does have some condition issues. Pre-1900 Antique Hand-Carved Wood Dressing Screen
I have for sale a gorgeous antique hand-carved wood screen from the pre-1900's. This wood screen was given to my great-grandfather by his parents. He then fled what was soon-to-be Nazi Germany with his belongings to the US and this has stayed in the family. Being handed down to my mother once he passed. A real find, pictures do this dressing screen NO justice. It's very intricate and is very obviously hand-carved. Wood type is unknown although it looks to be either a dark walnut or teak(the beautifully dark-striped wood grain is my only tip for this) Hate to see this antique go but I have no room/use for it. A definite FIND! Unknown make- no labels. Tags or brands on the wood indicating such. I did see a screen similar to this one on eBay but it is no where near the quality or detail of this one.

19th Century Hand Carved wood Italian Table/ Inlaid Octagonal Carrara Marble Top
This table was purchased by my Mom and Dad at the Phipps Estate in Old Westbury Long Island in the early 1950's. It sat in Garden City Long Island home until the late 1970's. It has been in my possession since 1980 and has been well used. It needs very little restoration on the wood and a good shine on the Marble. I was told it was a Center Table or a Specimen table. Antique French Carved Wood Folding Privacy Screen 3 Panels w Mirrors Fabric Blue. Gorgeous antique wood dressing or privacy screen that I found at auction. It had original silk fabric that was torn and damaged. We removed that and placed some varied lace in the sections. BUT this can be removed and the rods are in place so you can install your own fabric. Our finish carpenter did some repair work as well. He replaced back footing section of one panel. See photos. He tightened up some of the loose wood and adding calking. We did not paint over the areas he repaired. See all photos. This is just a stunning screen with top portion mirrors in all 3 sections. The tops featured hand carved wood floral, torch and flame pattern. Painted(not by us) a French blue. Some of the carved sprays of flowers that extend down in to the center mirror are missing ... moresections. The screen can be taken apart and laid flat for reduced shipping. It's a bit tricky to line up all pins with the existing pin holes. See photos. The center screen measures 23.5" wide and is 69.5" tall, the 2 side screens measure 19.5" wide and 66" tall. Not an item I am familiar with but it came from a local Estate and was purchased from an Antique shop quite a while ago. It is very heavy for its design possibly ironwood definitely a hardwood with hand tooled wood cut out panels. Hand painted with good color and it is complete. There is some warping primarily on the top/bottom thin legs and a few hinges although working now will need replacement. Antique Carved Wood Shelves, Angels, Lions, Crown, Serpents Spanish, Late 1800s?
Antique Carved Dark Wood Wall Shelves Piece. Angels, Lions, Crown, Serpents I got this in Dallas. Texas in 1985. I'm not a dealer or antique expert, so I'll do my best to describe this amazing piece. The pictures will probably tell the story better than I can. At it's widest point. It's 5' 11" across. Without the crown. It's 3' tall. With crown it's 4' tall. An old sticker on the back mentions"EXPRESO VILLALONGA" this appears to be a South American transportation and freight company. Which may mean this piece originates somewhere in South America, but I cannot be certain. Further research leads me to speculate that this piece may be Spanish, late 1800s. I don't know the age of this piece and I don't know the type of wood— there may be more than one type of wood used. While the piece ... moredoes have two metal hanging pieces. I added two more because this piece is heavy and I always made sure it was hung from studs. There is some damage to this piece and I have made some repairs which you can see in the pictures— see the angel's wings. For example. I've also tried to show some of the chips and gouges in the pictures. The structure is solid, but there are some areas on the backing panels that appear damaged by woodworms(I've captured this in one of the pictures) There does not appear to be any active, current activity by wood eating insects! I am not a professional or expert regarding antiques. I've described as best as my knowledge allows. Please feel free to ask questions and request additional pictures before you bid.
