Victorian Mahogany Louvered Interior Shutters Blinds Eastlake Hardware 3 Windows This is an incredible lot of interior shutters for three windows coming from a large Victorian estate. They had been stored in an attic since the 1950s and condition is excellent. They are intended for interior use and allow for being mounted to the inside sash of large windows. There are three sets. Each with one louvered panel and one solid panel. They are very well made with all mortise and tenon joints and working louvered mechanisms. The hardware is Eastlake style and made from solid brass. I believe the wood is mahogany and each is solid. Condition: Excellent. Old varnish. Some sides are a bit darker, all show normal amounts of wear from use. I cannot ship this item, but it could be packed and shipped by the local UPS store. Made to fit a window 57 1/2" ... moreH x 34" W. Each double panel side measures: 57 1/2" H x 17" W x 1 1/4" Thick. This is a set of antique or vintage interior window shutters with functional louvers. They measure 32 3/4" wide x 34 1/2" high. This is the actual pair that you will receive. They are complete with hinges and latches. There is a chip in the upper left corner which you can see in the pictures. The slats appear to be all intact. You will have to loosen up the rod that operates the louvers. The back is darker as you can see in the pictures as they would have been facing the sun. I HAVE SEVERAL PAIR OF THESE VICTORIAN GREEN SHUTTERS. TAKEN OFF MY HOUSE IN THE EARLY 70'S AFTER IT WAS SIDED AND STORED IN THE BARN ALL THESE YEARS. THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1869 AND I HAVE A PICTURE OF THE HOUSE WITH THE SHUTTERS ON IN THE 1800'S. THESE ARE A GREAT SIZE TO MAKE A TABLE BASE. OR JUST FOR THE INSIDE OF A WINDOW.
