Antique Victorian Old Leaded Glass Transom Window c1890 Textured Glue Chip Glass

The frame(2” thick) is painted on both sides and is sturdy with no rotting or other condition issues. In the frame. It measures 65”w x 16”h and the measurement for the glass only is 60”w x 11 1/2”h. The border of the window is textured glass and the foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing. Wonderful 4 pc lot of cast iron window sash locks that are marked Champion. Some have a little more wear than others. But all are in overall good antique condition. Please look closely at the pictures. The inner latch works are cleverly concealed. These antique locks seem to be in great working condition. They measure 1 3/4" high all put together. The top eagle claw piece measures about 2 1/2" wide, the holes are 2" apart. The smaller bottom piece measures 2 3/8" wide and the holes are 1 3/4" apart. Great piece for remodeling. There is a slight variance in width because one of the pair is the inner shutter and has a more pronounced“lip” to allow the outer shutter to rest in the fold. These are all matched pairs and are structurally sound. There are no missing slats. And the frames are solid with no fear of them falling apart. Take a look at this lovely set of 2 Antique Victorian ornate ball finial metal adjustable telescoping curtain rods with original enamel! The enamel is worn down to the green primer is some spots. And chipped in others, giving it a great shabby chic look! They adjust aprox. from 30" to 50" each half-rod being 27" in length. One set still retains the tips on the ball finials(which are also removable) and the other set does not. You will receive 4 half rods(2 complete rods) as shown in the photos. The rods mount with simple thin nails to your wall, having a drill-through next to each finial. They are fairly straight for the age.

These 23 BEAUTIES starting with the ones on the upper left are 2 1/2 inches across and the ones in the middle are 2 inches across and the far right and bottom locks are 2 inches and 2 1/4 inches across. As you can see these are various designs. The LARGE ones on the top left have SOLID brass or brons bottoms but the top and all others have a NICE design and most are CAST IRON and a few have BRASS centers. Straight from the contents of a recent clearance is beautiful pair of antique brass teardrop window handles. Dating to around the 1860's these are very ornate. A large pair- each handle is just under 5 inches long. Previous owner of the house had all the antique brass fittings dipped and cleaned hence the bright appearance of the one on the right. Up for auction is a pair of very old wood louvered exterior shutters in a deep sea green but has other older prior paint colors chipping in areas. They are from the era when shutters were made with wooden pegs(see photo#5) All the slats are adhered and in good condition but they do not louver. There are a total of 30 slats. 15 from the top, 15 on the bottom. The reverse side(photo#3& 5) has the original hardware. They measure 62" in length and 16" wide.
