Beautiful Womens' Giant Avail 3 Aluminum Road Bike 47cm

I'm selling this beautiful almost new Giant Avail 3 Road Bike It belonged to a friend of mine and she never rode it much or really at all so I said I'd put it up for sale and find it a new home. It's in great condition. Has the Sangria Black paint job Aluminum Frame Super Light Very lovable I just had it professionally tuned. She just wasn't using it. The shifters shift perfectly. The brakes work great too. The seat is comfortable. All the bearings. Everywhere roll nicely. Bottom bracket is smoothe. The wheels turn true and free. No hops. No rubs. The shifters and brakes work perfectly. The rubber hoods that cover them is are in good condition too. No stickiness or anything like that. Handle Bar tape is good too. This bike has very minor wear for its age. Not perfect though. There are marks on tubing. Also some grease ... moreand dirt here and there Decals and paint are scuffed in places. The doors are made of solid heart pine, and each door has 5 raised panels on both sides. Please note that heartpine is the non-living. Core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree to develop just 1� of heart stock it is rarer. Harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, ... moreless susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit any of these doors(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. This is the perfect entry level road bike if you're getting serious about riding. It has spent its entire life indoors. Hanging from a hook, ridden less than a dozen times(we are just too busy to ride) Minus a couple of surface scratches, this bike is in pristine condition. The size of the bike is"XS, which is for ladies under 5'5" My girlfriend, who rode this bike, is 5'5" and this was the bike selected by the Giant dealer to fit her when it was bought new. Aftermarket additions include Shimano Look-Keo-style pedals. Which are great for beginners. Cleats(which attach to shoes, allowing for a connection to the pedal) are included. In fact, I'll throw in the shoes to which they're currently attached: Pearl Izumi EUR size 39. Also they are extremely HEAVY- each took 8 strong men to remove and place ... moreinto storage. Each bench is made of solid Oak. Even the massively thick end caps are solid oak- not a single piece of veneer. All original armrests are intact with no breakages at all(rare to see them in this condition) There is a panel on the underside of one of the benches that shows" Charleston W. Va. but that is the only identification that we can discern as to a maker or designer- no other marks or marking were found once lifted from the floor. On the underside of one bench was a bank book from the National Bank of Athens which had opened in 1917 and has since become non-existent.
