Vintage, casement window stays salvaged from the windows of a former cream production plant(see last photos) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's, however, these most likely replaced the originals sometime during the middle of the previous century. Each stay is made of solid steel. And was originally brass plated. Much of the plating wore off over the years leaving them with a nice, distressed finish. The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group photos" to compare) If you are not familiar with this type of hardware. It keeps the window open at a specified distance from the sill. When you wish to open the window, loosen the knob by simply turning it in a counter clockwise direction. Open the window as far as you like, and once you wish to lock it in place, simply turn the knob clockwise until can't turn anymore. This will prevent wind from moving the window. At the point of salvage. The stays were painted, dirty, and rusty(see"Prior to restoration" photo) Since then, we've spent hours removing the paint, cleaning the dirt and rust from the outside of each stay, and greasing them to facilitate their movement. Straight from the contents of a recent clearance is beautiful pair of antique brass teardrop window handles. Dating to around the 1860's these are very ornate. A large pair- each handle is just under 5 inches long. Previous owner of the house had all the antique brass fittings dipped and cleaned hence the bright appearance of the one on the right. Qty. 3 Vintage Brass Plated Casement Window Fasteners/Locks- Fanarc Manufaturing Co. Inc. No. 176- original screws are included, no packaging. The master box is falling apart and although is in the picture it is not included just pictured it to show the information on it. The base of the lock is approximatley 1 7/8" x 1 1/8" and the keeper is approximately 2 1/2" x 3/4" and the handle turn is approximately 2" long. This is a marvelous se t of 3 antique black iron and brass window latches. The latches are about 2 1/2" long and are in excellent condition and move smooth and well. You lift up the little brass flower and that takes the tab out of the slot so that you can spin the the lock around to the latch and set the tab into the lock slot. There are(5) antique Mission Arts& Crafts Movement cast iron window-sash locks wit an'Eastlake' design. All are patent dated. There are(3) matching same patent-dated 1887 antique cast iron window sash-locks which have their original matching and fitted keepers, each one has a pretty ball finial at top made of brass(see pics) these locks are'1887' patent dated underneath in raised lettering and read: PAT DEC 27 87(the number"87" refers to 1887) these three locks have a wonderful Mission period'Arts& Crafts Movement' EASTLAKE design pattern embossed on the surfaces of each matching lock with a flower on one lever of each(see ... morepics) and a geometric raised design on each as well, all three of these window sash locks appear to be in good working order and in very good condition-PLEASE read entire description-one has old thick yellowish paint on it which could be removed-I left them and it in'as found' condition and only applied a light organic natural oil to clean and preserve the iron(see pics) both of the levers on the sash locks turn and manually rotate easily, each of these(3) locks has its matching keeper(see pics) on two of these locks there are no dents-chips-cracks-holes-splits-broken or bent parts, on one of these locks underneath there is a chipped piece of iron where the catch would be to hold the lever-this piece had been chipped of one this one lock underneath-it still works-it still holds the lever only it doesn't'catch' it into place-see pic included of this lock in close-up pic of bottom of locks provided) each one has some expected wear from age and use(see pics) each lock measures approx. with levers fully extended lengthwise 2 1/8" long x almost 1.5" deep x 1.25" tall, keepers measure approx. 2.25" long x 3/4" wide x 3/4" tall,

Antique/Vintage Window Latch/Lock-Cast Brass w/Screws-Sash-Door Cabinet-Chippy
One(1) antique cast brass window latch. Overall these are in very good condition. As seen some have more paint that others left on them. I did not clean them becuase some people like the"chippy" look. The paint does come off relatively easy. All of them turn freely. Some need a little more effort than others but all do move easily. These are not solid brass, they are some sort of cast brass because they are magnetic. You will receive 6 screws with eash set as well. Most of the screws are like the ones pictured, I do have some that are phillips head. By chance you dont need or want the screws please let me know. They all have 2131 casted into the bottom of the latch. Please view pictures closely. You’re just not going to find these at your local home center as well made as these are. The main body of the lock as well as the keeper is cast brass/bronze. The working mechanism is cast iron that has rust and pitting but does not affect how they work. Locks and keeper were given a fast cleaning and wiped down with an oiled rag but other than that are being sold in as found condition. ... moreThe approximate measurements are 2 ½” long x 1 1/8” deep at their base and the keeper is about 2 ¼” x 5/8” deep. VICTORIAN WINDOW SASH PULLS - SOLID BRASS - VERY ORNATE
FOR SALE- This is the best of the best- Here are 4 solid brass window sash pulls removed from a very old home here in central Illinois. I feel the home was probably built around 1870 or 1880. These are just fabulous as they are very ornate- intricate- fancy- they are special. These handles are extra heavy as the 4 have a combined weight of almost 1 pound 2 ounces. The overall size of each pull is 5 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" tall and each pull has the word LARGO stamped on the back. These all have there natural patina and have not had any cleaning solutions applied to them. I am positive you will not be disappointed with these.
