The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 glass lites. No hardware included. These windows were originally installed as double-hung pairs. If you buy several windows with the intention of installing them as pairs. Please let us know after the auction. Each window is ... morepainted white on the interior side and green on the exterior side. We could either completely strip the paint. Or prep the surface of the windows for a fresh coat of paint. The tieback is comprised of two interlocking gold-tone brass medallions attached to fabric. The fabric on one of the tiebacks does NOT match the fabric of the other three. The medallions have a leaf motif and"hook" together in the center; each medallion is attached to a length of fabric which ends in a narrow loop so that the tieback can be secured. Each medallion measures 3.375 inches wide by 4.75 inches tall. When the two medallions are hooked together. They measure 6.75 inches wide by 4.75 inches tall. If the quantity above is less than 4, this indicates that 1 or more sold. Lovely. Antique French windows salvaged from a former cream production plant(see last photo) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 glass lites. No hardware included. Each window is painted white on the interior side and green on the exterior side. We could either completely strip the paint. Or prep the surface of the windows for a fresh coat of paint. Email us with a description ... moreof what you would like done. Not because they were in bad shape or defective. All of the frames(sashes) are in good shape with no breaks, cracks, or serious flaws. All glass is intact. The lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior(green) side. The condition of the putty varies from window to window. Some of the putty is weak and brittle. And some windows have sections of putty missing. Worst case, brittle or missing putty must be replaced with new putty which could be purchased online or at any hardware store. Antique set of 2 bulls eye glass window panes. Unusual find& don't know much about them. The bullseye portion is glazed/attached to the 2nd larger piece of glass. In excellent condition. No cracks. The overall measurements are 11.5" x 6.5" The smaller pane with the bullseye, which is fused to the larger pane, measures 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" The bullseyes protrude approx. 1 inch. and show a blue/green cast to the glass. I believe these panes were in a set of french doors in an old house. Excellent find for a restoration project, art, or whatever you can think of! Thanks for looking! Each panel of each pair has 8 panes and measures 64 tall x 24 wide(so the pair is 64 tall by 48wide) They also have some of the original, antique hardware with them as you can see in the pictures. There is only one missing pane of all the windows! There is also very little paint on these windows, so a light sanding should be all you need prior to adding a coat a paint.
