CLOCK MEASURES APPOXIMATELY 17 INCHES TALL. 10 INCHES WIDE, 6 INCHES DEEP AND HAS A 4 INCH DIAL. THIS CLOCK CAME TO ME WITH A BROKEN AND MISSING BACK LEG AND MISSING FINIAL PARTS. I FABRICATED A NEW LEG BY INSERTING A THREADED IRON ROD THEN FORMING THAT ROD TO THE DESIRED SHAPE. WIRE SCREEN MESH WAS APPLIED AROUND THE FORMED ROD TO GIVE THE EPOXY STEEL MATERIAL SOMETHING TO FORM TO. AFTER THIS WAS THOROUGHLY SET UP. I CARVED THE DESIRED SHAPE AND ACCENT MARKS TO MATCH THE EXISTING BACK LEG. THE ORIGINAL GILT FINISH WAS MOSTLY GONE, SO I APPLIED A"METALIC ACRYLIC" FINISH TO GIVE THE CLOCK A CLOSE GILT TYPE LOOK. The body of the lock and the keeper are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron. Although the lock is an original, antique, the keeper is a newer, reproduction. Please note that the color of the parts is actually a dark gray color(gunsmoke" Due to the lighting. The parts appear lighter in color and brighter in the photos. The lock was salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. At the point of salvage it was found dirty and rusty. We cleaned and polished it. This pull has a casting flaw on the top. See close up picture for condition and decorations. The lift is 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall and stand 7/8" off the window. There are no cracks or breaks. The lift was sprayed with clear acrylic lacquer finish made by Sherwin Williams that is specially made for cast iron and exterior applications. This is a better finish than a hardware store spray paint.
