I use acrylic paint and after painting it is sealed with an acrylic sealer to make it permanent. ANTIQUE VINTAGE GARDEN WINDOW SOFT FROSTY WHITE QUILT
This interesting quilt looks like a frosty window pane! It and has medium weight batting so the quilting really stands out! It is about 62" x 77" The border blocks have some wear as seen in pictures, back of quilt is white, all cotton, machine pieced and hand quilted at about 8 stitches per inch, but looks like more since they create an deeper and interesting textured design. There is only ONE noticeable stain on the front, see closer picture with penny, I didn't try to wash since overall is super nice and clean, no odors. Antique Window frame
For sale is a restored/upgraded antique window frame from a circa 1910 era South Carolina mansion. This nice piece of history has been modified into a mirror. Bookshelf, hat/coat rack and key rack. Please note that the original runs and defects brought on by years of repainting have been preserved as well as the original lock. The unit as a whole has been primed and repainted in a slightly off white satin finish. Dimensions are 32 1/2" high x 36" wide and the shelf projects 5" from the window frame. The border of the window is textured glass and the foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is mostly clear distorted glass with some pale green. There are 12 facet cut jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. The frame is a little rough but braces have been added to stabilize it. The frame is square. The glass is arched. It measures 28.5 inches by 27 inches and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is 24 by 21.5 inches. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There is a little paint on the glass and some chips and dings to the frame. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: 121258 Shipping. Antique French windows salvaged from a former cream production plant(see last photo) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 glass lites. No hardware included. These windows were originally installed as double-hung pairs. Vintage window with mirrored panes installed. This one is a six pane window. All the old lead paint has been removed and the frame was then painted a light maroon. After that. I painted it white with a crackle finish to allow some of the maroon to show through. This gives it the appearance of being weathered. This particular one has a 5/8" x 7 1/4" shelf installed for knick knacks.Key hole slots are installed on the back to allow it to hang flat on your wall. This auction is for 2 matching antique stained glass windows. These items are from the Arts& Crafts era. There were square nails in these items which is evidenced from the wooden marks left. The one is smaller than the other because someone cut it down. Originally. These windows were the larger size noted. There are no details regarding these items. They are mounted in wooden window frames. One measures 30 1/4" long by 21 1/4" wide the glass panel measures 28" long by 18" wide. The glaze is no intact on the back of the window but there are copper nails that hold the item in place. Window# 2. Measures 32 1/2" long by 21 1/4" wide the glass panel measures 28" long by 18" wide. I tried to capture all of the age spots/issues that these items have.
