Antique exterior windows salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 wavy glass lites. Glazier's Putty: Each of the window's glass lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior side. The putty on the majority of the windows is brittle and cracked and should be replaced. We could do this for you. Email us for a quote. I f a lite were to break once you install the windows; you would need to completely scrape off the old putty. Which could be as ... morehard as cement, remove the glazing points, put in the replacement lite, reinsert the points, add new putty, and allow to dry. 3 Rare Vtg Antique Leaded Hand Blown Glass Rondelle Windows 17" x 21" x 1.5"
This is a set of 3 very old vintage or antique leaded hand blown glass rondelle windows. Two are in their original and very heavy frames and one is not(just the insert with glass) These may be from my grandmother's house which was built in 1830. I inherited them from my late aunt. The rondelles on one of the windows are in great condition. There's some cracks on the rondelles in the other framed window and quite a few cracked ones in the insert piece. The leading is very heavy and the construction of the window frames seems to come from an early period. But I have no expertise in this. The framed windows are are 17" x 21" x 1.5" and the insert is 13" x 7" The framed windows weigh about 8.5 lbs each.

Vintage, Cast Iron Window Weights for sash windows, 3 pcs, Antique, 5.5 lbs each
You are bidding on 3 cast iron in-wall window weights/counterweights. They came out of original sash windows from a house built in 1924 so they are about 90 years old. There are 2 different styles. The two shown in the picture together have the numbers 5 and 2 printed on them. Not sure about the 2. Could be a 3) One weighs 5 lb 5 oz. and the other weighs 5 lb 8 oz. The one shown by itself is a different style with no markings on it. It weighs 5 lb 8 oz. Window weights are 90 years old. They are cast iron. So they have rusted over time. There is obvious corrosion to the metal, but they still perform the function they were meant to perform. The hole where the sash would loop through is still in good structural condition. Here is a lot of(3) antique cast iron sash locks that were removed from a home that was built in the late 1800's. Please note: this is for the latches only. There are no catches included. What you see in the photos is what's included. All have multiple layers of paint. But all operate as they should. There are some nice details that are in the castings, reminiscent of'Eastlake' style. This window was found at a worksite of an old house that was being remodeled and since I was remodeling my own house it was brought to me for use. I didn't have the height needed for installation over my front door so I have had it in storage for several years. It is in very good condition. Has three window panes that have no breaks or cracks. The frame is in terrific condition considering its age. Nice solid wood frame. Panes are tight with no rattling when moved. Because the window was torn out I did take a jig saw and even the bottom ends to keep it from hanging on anything and damaging the frame and filled the open area with white chalk. Any antique dated hardware is always in short supply so don’t pass these 3 up. The condition is consistent with their age and all have dings scratches and wear from usage. All have been given a quick cleaning and wiped down with an oiled rag. They all work although they all could use a final cleaning and oiling. These work by pushing down on the lever to swing into the lock position and then pushing down on the lever to swing back in to the unlock position. These have a nice smooth darkened patina that I left like that by choice because once removed you can’t get it back. If you like the way they look do a final clean up on them and clear coat them and they will stay as pictured for many more years. If you prefer a bare metal look then use a wire brush or better yet a wire brush on a dremel or drill. It’s hard to read on some of them but they all have a paten date of 1875. The lock is about 2 3/8” long x 1 ¼” wide and the keeper is about 2 ¼” long x ¼” wide. Free first class shipping!
