The two shown in the picture together have the numbers 5 and 2 printed on them. Not sure about the 2. Could be a 3) One weighs 5 lb 5 oz. and the other weighs 5 lb 8 oz. The one shown by itself is a different style with no markings on it. It weighs 5 lb 8 oz. Window weights are 90 years old. They are cast iron. So they have rusted over time. There is obvious corrosion to the metal, but they still perform the function they were meant to perform. The hole where the sash would loop through is still in good structural condition. Matched pair 9.5 lb window sash weights from 1910 house. They each have a number 9 on them. They measure 16.5" long. They have holes at the back of the top for hanging. Though they don't show in the pictures. They are the original weights from our old house. The windows were extra large so the weights needed to be extra large too. I've heard that these weights can also be used as boat anchors?

Vintage, Cast Iron Window Weights for sash windows, 3 pcs, Antique, 5.5 lbs each
You are bidding on 3 cast iron in-wall window weights/counterweights. They came out of original sash windows from a house built in 1924 so they are about 90 years old. There are 2 different styles. The two shown in the picture together have the numbers 5 and 2 printed on them. Not sure about the 2. Could be a 3) One weighs 5 lb 5 oz. and the other weighs 5 lb 8 oz. The one shown by itself is a different style with no markings on it. It weighs 5 lb 8 oz. Window weights are 90 years old. They are cast iron. So they have rusted over time. There is obvious corrosion to the metal, but they still perform the function they were meant to perform. The hole where the sash would loop through is still in good structural condition.
