If the quantity falls below 4, this indicates 1 or more sold. Original. Antique, window locks and keepers made circa 1887. The parts are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron, and the finials sitting atop the locks are cast bronze. Please note that the color of the iron is actually a dark gray color(gunsmoke" Due to the lighting. The parts appear lighter in color and brighter in the photos. The locks and keepers were salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. At the point of salvage they were found dirty. Painted, and very rusty(see last photo) We cleaned and polished each part, allowing the true beauty of the design to show forth. They range between 4 pounds(which are about 7"8" long) 5 pounds(which are 11"12" long) and 6- 6.5 pounds(which are about 14"15" long) The most i have are of the 6 pound weights. Up for bidding is this beautiful antique cathedral shaped wooden window frame with cast iron insert. Perfect for decorative applications. There is no glass in the window. Frame insert is well crafted into a stained glass design with sweeping curves and diamond shaped accents. The quality iron and wood work places this frame in the early 1900's. Window has amazing patina with different layers of color showing through the white paint top layer that is chipping and flaking off. Iron bars were probably painted white as well but now displays surface rust. There are 2 welded tubes on the lower section of the iron bars that can have various design uses. Each rectangular mount area measures 2 3/8" wide(with the swing porcelain arm it measures 3 3/8" wide) x 1" deep. The swing arms are about 2 3/8" wide& each keeper measures 2 1/8" wide x 7/8" deep. The latches and keepers are in very nice vintage condition& are as described and pictured. Some of the latches have old residual white paint on them. But there are no chips on the fantastic condition porcelain knobs& the latches work ... moreas they should. There is no mark anywhere that we can see on these latches. This lock is in great condition. The keeper still has sharp details. These have a swing arm eagle claw mechanism made of cast iron and bronze. The keeper is cast iron. Locks and keepers may have a couple spots of old paint on them. Locks have a Pat. date of 1883 or 1888 it’s really difficult to read.
