INTERIOR ~ 3 Paneled VICTORIAN LOUVERED window house shutters 84" H x 54" W #2
This a nice interior shutter featuring a diamond paneled bottom. It is comprised of 3-18" panels providing for a 54" overall width. One panel could easily be removed to achieve a 36" width. Five of the louvers have been replaced on this one. The hinges joining the panels are in good working condition. Hinges to attach the outer panel to your window will be required. This is set#2 of three identical sets I have for sale. I would rate this one in very good condition. They have been stored indoors in a heated environment. I will also be listing several sets of excellent exterior shutters with original blue and green paint. These are well made vintage shutters that may have scratches. Marks, cracks or other characteristics typical of an item this age.

1800's Pr Primitive Country Louvered House Shutters 54.25" X 16.75" X 1.5" Black
Architectural Salvage of a Pair of House Shutters. Original to 1880 Country Home. These shutters were found in the attic space of the house that was cleared out. Unfortunately, Someone stole the other 2 pairs of matching shutters. These shutters are 54 1/4" tall. 16 3/4" wide and about 1 1/2" wide. I tried to take some photos of the details since I do not know the correct terminology. Please look closely at the photos. The neatest part of these shutters are the over sized large square nail heads that I think were purposefully left to protrude. Kind of a Pre Arts and Crafts sort of detail. Nice pair of vintage louvered wood shutters. The paint is coming off as shown in photos. These came off a house here in Texas. They had been on the home for 30 years. They had been recently painted, so there is some build up. These are great for craft projects or repurposing. This size measures 16 inches wide by 30 inches long. There are two panels measuring approx. 8 inches by 30 inches hinged together. The louvers have a wood rod for opening and closing(keep in mind there is paint build up on these, so the rod may not move freely) and a white knob handle with a latch. Unusual louvered and solid panel shutters. Each panel gets gradually narrower in width from the outside(solid) panel measuring approximately 8 1/2" to 6" on inside panel. One side is a stained finish. The other is flat black(faded) These open accordian style with each panel having a"lip" that fits with next panel. Lovely old hinges, two knobs and one latch set. These are stained. Dusty, dirty, scuffed, etc. Probably the original finish-not refinished. There is a crack at the bottom of one of the solid panels(see pics) I think this could be reglued and clamped. Does not seem to be affecting integrity of shutters.
