Antique/Vintage Architectural Window Sash From 1800's Farmhouse.Some Wavy Glass
This is a really neat 4 pane window from an old farmhouse that was built in the early 1800's. I was there when it was torn down and the main part of the house was a log cabin that they had put hand planed poplar siding over. I'm guessing from talking with the owner of the old house that the windows were put in in the late 1800's around 1870 or 1880. I have 7 of them. All very similar in appearance and condition. The glass has wavy spots that are really interesting. The wood frame is very solid. The window could actually be cleaned up and reused! No rot or insect damage. The window frame is 28" X 28 3/4" X 1-3/8" The actual windows are 25-5/8" X 5-1/2" The nine pics shown are all of the same window.

These are Chinese handmade(mortise and tenon) window shutters in very weathered/rustic condition. The shutters were in a garden area. And therefore exposed to more water and sun than normal. The previous lattice screens and glass eventually succumbed to time and weather. The shutters are still beautiful and have alot of character. They can be used as-is, or easily have glass panes installed in them for a unique and customized look. NOTE- The shutters are both right hand opening and were not a pair. But they were the only ones that were still in good condition. The shutters measure 60" Long X 19 1/2" wide X 2 1/4" thick. The shutters can been used as wall art. This is a Chinese handmade(mortise and tenon) solid Burmese teak window screen. The panel has signs of use/wear. But is in really good condition with a mahogany finish. VINTAGE SLAG GLASS WINDOW PANELS You will receive 2 panels. The same 2 panels are shown in all photos. Actual measurements are just under 7" x 11 3/4" The colors are very deep and rich blending in shades of green. Amethyst and cream. Both sides are smoothly textured but one is glossy with very light texturing. These are absolutely spectacular antique panes. The windows were salvaged out of an old church in Augusta. Ga but not used. The frames have since deteriorated but this gorgeous marbled slag glass remains damage free and waiting to be repurpose. It can be used in other frames, furniture, building renovation, lamps or dozens of other projects. I have at least 30 undamaged in this size available so if your project is large this is perfect.
