1989 United Kingdom PIEDFORT SILVER Proof one pound £1 coin - 19g sterling cased
Hi and welcome to our no reserve auction. Here we have a PIEDFORT silver proof £1 coin from 1989 weighs 19g of sterling silver in capsule. With certificate, in Royal Mint case several toning spots on obverse. Don't show up in scan Yes. All shipping is done at our risk, not yours. Yes. We ship internationally. Yes. We combine postage. Yes. We accept returns, and offer a full refund if it is our fault. Full details below: UK Shipping: We send our silver items tracked. Which although slightly more expensive, protects both of us in the event of loss. Should your item fail to arrive we'll re-imburse you and claim from the Royal Mail ourselves. Unlike many sellers we do not ask you to take responsibilty for postal losses. We do not intentionally make a profit out of our p&p charges. But occasionally we get estimates of our weights ... moreand package sizes wrong(or just forget to update from one listing to another) so if we have overcharged you please contact us and we will refund any difference. Items under £50 are sent First Class Recorded and over £50 are sent Special Delivery. All items are packed in jiffy bags Combined Postage: If you buy several different lots we will do our best to combine postage. Within the size, weight and value constraints set by the Royal Mail. So four or five low value single coins would be posted together for only one postage charge. Bulk lots we still offer combined postage, but obviously a bigger heavier parcel is more expensive to post so we have to pass those charges on. The only time we may not be able to discount postage very much is if the total value exceeds £50. As in this case we will send the package special delivery(so if you bought three coins at £20 +£1.70 p&p each– the postage charge would still be £5.10 as we would send it special delivery. Of course if you bought 10 coins at £20 +£ 1.70 p&p each. Then depending on the weight the postal charge would be about £6. I'm sure you get the idea! We will never charg

J.C. Klinkosch 1800's 900 Silver Centerpiece Very Rare
J.C. Klinkosch.900 silver centerpiece. Very rare. Uncleaned and unpolished(both brass centerpiece liner and silver centerpiece) some prefer patina on antique silver. No dents. No dings. In excellent estate condition. Josef Carl Klinkosch was one of the finest Imperial Silversmiths to Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. Sometimes also written is his second first name Charles. He was the son of Carl and Catherine nee Klinkosch Kempenich. He was first an apprentice to his father from 1835 until 1839. He produced magnificent silver work in a myriad of ways. Klinkosch adopted the so-called"old fashioned" manual production. Which was very successful in Europe. Awarded numerous silver and gold medals at exhibitions for his high-quality silver production. From 1861/1862 Klinkosch was a member of the Vienna Municipal Council. Customers were ... morenot only the upper middle class and nobles, but also the imperial court from 1855th. On the basis of his merit and the high quality of the products of the title"kuk Court and chamber Supplier" was awarded him. The company participated in the World Exhibition in Vienna in 1873 and 1878 in Paris. Joseph Carl(von) Klinkosch retired from the the silver business in 1884. So the best guess of age has been from 1872, as indicated by the shape of the Dianahead, to this date. The products of Klinkosch achieve high prices at auction today. Highly desirable by the discerning collector in fine auction houses like Sothebys The Dianakopf or Diana's head mark which appears on the underside. Was used between the years 1886– 1922 Austria–Hungary, the cartouche shape and number 2(900 purity) to the left of dianas head indicates the silver fineness. Beginning in 1872, a letter was added to indicate city of assay to the front/right of dianas head. This has an A to indicate Vienna. The royal family mark of two heads of eagles appears on the underside as well as"J.C. Klinkosch" The letters the letters J.C.K also appear on the lower outside lower rim of the centerpiece. 2 lbs

c.1900 Sterling Silver Gorham Punch Serving Ladle - 232 grams, not scrap
Lovely sterling silver ladle. Features attractive. Subtle design work on both sides of the handle and a monogram"F" There is a seller's mark on the back, Platt& Bro" but I was told by another eBayer with"strong feelings" that this piece was made by Gorham. I made the changes, as"requested" Not sure of an exact date either, but I would suspect that it was made in the late-19th Century, to early 20th Century. The ladle is in excellent condition with no noticeable signs of wear or tarnish. It measures 13.25" long] the bowl 4" wide and nearly an inch deep. She weighs in at 232 grams. c.1820 Set of Three George Platt Pure Coin Silver Spoons - 76 grams
Beautiful set of three silver spoons made by the George W. Platt Company of New York City. Not sure of an exact date of origin. But Platt only operated on his own between 1824 and 1828, before engaging in a series of partnerships, so there is a relatively small window of time in which these could have been produced. Each is adorned with design work along with a maker's mark. There is no mark denoting silver content, but everything else I've seen from this manufacturer has been made of coin silver and I have no reason to suspect this is any exception. The spoons show some tiny dents but are otherwise in good shape. Each measures approximately 6" x 1.25" and the set weighs 76 grams. SU-573 Like us on Facebook@ Old Weird Stuff. First of all. Beautiful pair of sterling silver spoons made by the Maynard& Taylor Company of Utica. New York. 19th Century Westervelt Pure Coin Silver Spoon - 23 grams
Beautiful pure coin silver spoon from the mid 19th Century. The fiddle handles bears a monogram reading"OEB" and the reverse features a maker's mark for the John Westervelt company of Newburgh. New York, who operated around the 1850s. There's no mark specifying silver content, but everything that I've seen by this maker was comprised of coin silver, which was far more prevalent during this era than later on, so I suspect this is the material used here. The spoon is in great shape with little wear and no damage. It measures 6" x 1.25" and weighs 23 grams SU-579 Like us on Facebook@ Old Weird Stuff. First of all. Thanks for looking at my items. Antique Coin Silver Ladle J. Leonard Southern Silver C. Early 1800s
This is a beautiful coin silver ladle by Jacob Leonard. He worked 1808– 1828 in several cities. Including Chestertown MD, Georgetown DC, Washington DC, possibly New Orleans LA and Fredricksburg VA.
