The Candlesticks are in very fine all original condition with some wear to the Copper as you would expect to see on an untouched pair of the period. I have tried to show the Seam Line in my photos, which advanced collectors want to see because it shows they have never been re-plated. The Candlesticks could use a slight adjustment to sit perfectly straight and we could not remove the one wax cup. Overall this is a very fine and rare pair of impressive large candlesticks for the collector and I doubt many examples this nice come up for auction, especially with no reserve! This lot is a Pair of Old 900 Silver Mexican Candlesticks. Supposedly. In the 1920's, Mexico used letter marks to designate state or town silver was made in. They are about 6" tall and 3 1/2"diameter at bottom. Total weight is about 316 grams. Slight tilt to tops, otherwise good condition. Decorated with Aztec figures. FINE PAIR WATSON CLASSICAL STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS Presented is an elegant pair of sterling silver candlesticks made by Watson Company of Attleboro. Massachusetts. The candlesticks are done in the form of classical columns. They are engraved with a monogram of NEMD surrounded by a wreath of leaves. The candlesticks were made around the first quarter of the 1900s. The candlesticks are marked underneath the base with the makers mark for Watson and Sterling. One candlestick has a small dent on the rim. And the other has a small dent to the base, as we have shown in the last two photos. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. These candlesticks were weighted in the center column at one time, but most of the weighting is gone. They could be filled with plaster of Paris, ... morepitch, or even lead to give them an impressive heavy weight. There are no other dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. Antique Pair of Russian Silver Candlesticks Circa 1875/1908, 13" Tall, Excellent
Offered here is a pair of Russian silver candlesticks by T. Werner circa 1875/1908. They are in excellent condition. While they both have T. Werner IS inscribed on the base. There are some differences in the mark. One has a oval with 84 and a side view of a woman pointed left toward the number. The other has the oval but it is rubbed enough that I can't make it out. The designs of both pieces are exactly the same. I believe these candlesticks were made in two different Russian cities.Minsk and St. Petersburg. That may be why the marks are not quite the same. They come with bobeches(wax catchers) but they are definitely not the originals. Measurements: 13 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" wide. Each candlestick weighs just over 12 oz.

The quality of them is second to none and one has the maker's mark'S& G' There are further marks comprising a harp. Shamrock and a letter, along with another mark I cannot make out. Therefore I would not be surprised if they were Irish, but if anyone knows who this maker is I would be pleased to hear from them. What is most interesting is that these beautiful candlesticks are telescopic and can be extended from the shorter length to taller length(see pics) as and when desired. Each of these fine candle holders have removable sconces and beautiful ornate scrolling decoration to the sconce. Bands around the stems and loaded bases. a nice pair of italian 800 silver candlesticks by the florence silversmith zipoli guido di ricci alberto who worked from 1954 to 1971. the candlesticks are made from thinish silver and are hollow but not weighted& weigh 103 grms with both being stamped on the foot rim"800* 263 fi" both have been used and will need a clean/ polish with one having a very tiny ding on the tapering body which is nearly impossable to see but otherwise in very good condition 3&3/4 inches tall the hallmarks on italian silver are the grade of silver used ie 800(we use 925 which is sterling standard) the three numbers are alloted to a silversmith and are only used by him& fi is the area the piece came from which in this case is firenze/ florence

Silver-plated candlesticks in a very simple. Very classic design. Candlesticks will hold a normal size taper. Each candlestick stands just under 5 inches high and is just under 5 inches wide at the base and 2.5 inches wide at the top. It is 1 inch in diameter at the candle holder. For auction. A pair of classic Gorham sterling silver candlesticks. They measure about 4 1/2" high and are 4" in diameter across the base. They are very attractive and will fit into any style of decor. I see wax remnants on the base of both(photos 9& 10) and in the candlestick cups. There is a small ding to the rim of both candlesticks and light marks to the top of the base(photos 11& 12) Even so. The removable sconce is 2 3/8 inches or 62 mm across the length of its upper rim by 1 3/4 inches or 45 mm across the width of its upper rim from side to side and it has an internal candle holding aperture that is just under 7/8 of an inch or 2 1 mm across its width or diameter. We have not had them cleaned or polished. They each measure approximately 9.5" in height and weigh approximately 116.4 OZT total however they are weighted. The bases are stamped"STERLING" with the appropriate hallmarks and date code. The tops are stamped"STERLING" on the inside as well. Please note our photos. The pair weighs 630.8 grams. The candlesticks are 9 7/16” in height. The base 4 1/4” and the top 2 1/16” in diameter. The cherub is about 3 1/4” in height.
