One candelabrum is in very good condition. The other. However, has 2 dings(small dents) on the end cup, one maybe about 1/16" deep, which is about 3/8” long, and the other is about ¼” and not quite as deep. Also, the cup rim on the same arm has a few tiny dings. Lastly, there are 2 similar dents(small, but with a little depth) just above the base where it unscrews. All is shown in the last 3 pictures. I don’t know if these issues can be addressed, but they are still very beautiful and functional. Both have a slight rattle if shaken. And there is some tarnish in the crevices, but overall they are in good condition. They measure 13” tall, with an arm span of 11 ½” and a 4 ¼” diameter base. Sterling silver three candle candelabra. In good shape for the age. Does have a few dings. Was very tarnished, I cleaned it with Tarn X. The Actual Silver Weight is 4.1 oz. I had a second one that was broke so I took it the silver off and that's the actual weight. It's just over 11" High and 11.5" Wide. Up for your consideration is this gorgeous pair of estate Gorham weighted.925 sterling silver 3-candle candelabras. They are done in Gorham's Puritan style. Model#807, and are convertible to single candlesticks as well as triple(see picture 2) The candelabra bases and screw-on tops carry the 20th century Gorham hallmarks. But no date mark, which from my knowledge of Gorham, dates them to between 1933 and 1941. The pair are well-polished and in very fine condition. With just a couple minor dents and dings to the edges(see pictures 7& 8) They are only noticeable upon very close inspection. The pieces thread together cleanly and evenly. They are 11" tall and 11.5" wide. Without the screw-on 3-candle arm they are 8.25" tall. The base is 3.75" in diameter. Total weight 57.5 oz. And a little tarnish is starting. Overall they are 11 1/2" wide and 4" tall. The part the would connect to a base is threaded, and is 7/8" in diameter. Description From the collection of a retired diplomat. We offer a really attractive art deco sterling candelabra. Marked to the base"Sterling"with also the crown and cresent moon for Germany. It dates from the late twenties to early thirties and is beautifully designed. This three light candelabra is in very good condition. And is weighted at the base so that it can easily support three candlestiicks. The base tapers to a ball and then from that ball the three candleholders emerge. Condition: Extremely good. Please see the pictures. Measurements: 10 inches high(25 cm) at centre 11 inches(27.5 cm) across the top of the candelabra. The arms of the candelabra are done in a beautiful scrolled style. The candelabra are raised on octagonal pedestal bases. Overall these pieces are done in a very attractive and classical form. The candelabra are weighted for stability. These are very well made pieces. And would be an exceptional addition to any home's decor. The underside of each candelabra is stamped with the hallmark for Watrous Mfg. Co. of Wallingford. CT, one of the original companies that formed the International Silver Co. The candelabra is marked with Whiting’s maker mark. Sterling 6441. This weighs 2241.3 grams. The candelabra measures 17” tall, the base is 8 1/4” in diameter and the arms are about 14 1/4” across. Up for auction today is this MATCHED PAIR OF ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE? STERLING SILVER 950 CONVERTIBLE CANDELABRA! We came across these gorgeous. Two arm, sterling silver, candelabra at a recent estate sale and had to have them! Comprised of 3 segments(thus"convertible" they can be interchanged to create different styles and heights of the candelabra or convert it to a singular candlestick(as shown in the photos) On the base is the mark"STERLING 950" we aren't certain if that indicates they are made with 950 silver or if that's the standard 925 silver with a pattern/ mold number of 950 and our research did not shed any further light on the matter. Additional numerical marks were found- e.g. inside the candle holder on one of the base segments there is the stamped number 00. No information was provided at the estate sale ... moreregarding the maker. Origin, nor age so your guess will be as good as ours- plenty of pictures to help in making that determination though! As for what we can tell you about these beauties. We took the base segments off of each candelabra and weighed them together for a total of ~ 21.2 ounces- these pieces are weighted! Next we took the remaining pieces and weighed them together for a total of ~ 17.3 ounces(note: the individual candle holders have brass screws- the arms are brass inside- we do not know the weight of the brass- the weight provided is total weight) Each candelabra measures ~ 11 1/4" in height with the finial in the center(9 3/4" without the finial) the arms measure ~ 10 1/2" across- and they sit on an ~ 4" diameter base. Both have very minimal surface wear- one of the bases appears to have been crushed so is dented all the way around thus our listing these well below even the melt value! Course. We do hope someone that's a lover of all things shiny will choose to add them to their collection for use/ display in the years to come! The Candelabra is very finely and deeply etched with handsome Acanthus Leaf designs to the Base and stem which are also repeated on the wax cup portions. The Silver portions have all been tested and are guaranteed to be Sterling Silver throughout. The Arms of each Candlestick are Cow Horns. I have never seen another like this and I am sure it would make been made by a top maker. The Candelabra has a real power to it, something about it I just can't put into to words and it is much more handsome than my photos show. The Candelabra is in excellent condition throughout with no cracks, dents or repairs. I should point out that due to the Cow Horns not being perfectly straight, the candles may stand at some angels, this is how it was made.
