This auction is for a 1929 DANISH 826 Solid Silver Tea or Coffee set. This set is almost identical to set produced by Grann& Laglye from Denmark listed now for $4950.00 The set is hallmarked for 1929 and the assayer was Sigsgaard with the maker being A. Mathieson. This set is HAND MADE and quite beautiful with a Georg Jensen style Grape or Berry decorating the finial and handles of the set. If you look closely at the close-up photo of the silver. You can see the hammer marks from the maker. The set is 89 years old. Almost antique and is in very good condition with no noticeable dents or damage that I can see(remarkable for such an old smooth body service) and NO monograms- the pieces are as follows: The pot stands approximately 9 1/2 inches in height and has a weight of 650 grams with the lid hinge in good working order The footed creamer ... moremeasures 5 1/4 inches in width from tip of the spout to end of handle and stands 3 1/2 inches in height to the rim with a weight of 162 grams. One condition issue it has is that the lid does not quite fit down flat but that can be repaired easily. Up for auction here is a charming 19th silver gilt miniature coffee pot. Possibly for a doll's house. Made in France towards the end of the 19thC. Maker's mark is LE is a diamond. Here is an amazing antique sterling silver on copper coffee or tea pot for sale. This is one nice piece and in beautiful condition for its age. I did the hardest part of polishing it. But buyer may want to fine tune it and get all the nooks and crannies and the inside needs cleaned. Im not an expert on these old silver hallmarks, but I do know the upright Lion on the top mark means Sterling. The shields stand for the City and also date it I think, but I cant say for sure. This is a very fine quality silver coffee pot made by the important maker. Charles Fox. The coffee pot is superbly chased with swirling leaves and has a vacant shield cartouche to the one side with no engraving. The pot has a domed lid with a superb chased flower and leaf finial. The spout and the handle have chased leaf thumbpieces. The coffeepot stands on four scroll shell leaf feet. The pot is 9 inches/ 228 mm wide and 6-1/2 inches/ 165 mm deep. It stands 10 inches/ 254 mm high. Made of thick gauge silver. The coffee pot weighs an impressive 764 grams. The underside has clear hallmarks- lion passant. This George II English sterling silver coffee pot is of tapering cylindrical form onto a spreading foot. The hinged domed coveris fitted with a cast sterling silver finial. The swan necked spout has embossed acanthus leaf decoration. To the body. Bordering the spout has applied chased scrolling shaped decoration. Beautiful Estate Piece, Sterling Silver Coffee Pot
This is a very nice looking coffee pot. It is marked on the bottom. Sterling with the number 154. It has the Lion passat& what looks to be a shield, but I can hardly make it out. It is 7 inches tall& 7 inches across from teaspout to handle. I just sold the teapot which matched this one, it had the letter d on it, which went back to 1899. I am assuming this would be the same. This has the name Helen engraved on the front. Now my scale will not weigh anything this heavy, as it only goes up to 150 grams. This one is bigger& heavier than the teapot, I am guessing(by comparing it to other coffee pots of the same size on ebay) it is between 600 to 700 grams. If I can find a scale to weigh this on, I will put the weight in this description, as this is only my best guess. The Pot also appears to have its original carved ebony wood handle with top thumb rest. The Pots handle pins have been reinforced at some point as you can see making the handle very strong with absolutely no movement at all. The Pot has a few light marks and some light wear throughout, but overall for its early age the pot is in fine original condition with no large dints, cracks, holes, or repairs. The Pot displays nicely and is a is a Full size period example and is still very practical for use if one desired measuring 8 ½ inches long, by 4 ½ inches wide at the base, and stands 10 inches tall. The piece features an gently curved spout, hinged lid, and a partially wooden painted handle. Gorgeous solid sterling silver coffee pot from Gorham. Pattern unknown. This antique pot is approximately 8 1/2" tall and holds 2 3/4 pints. Beautifully simple decorations with ivory reinforcements on the handle. Fully marked with old Gorham hallmarks. Sterling, A6851, 2 3/4 pint, an arrow stamp for the date of 1909? and an F3. The lid is stamped with sterling 3F and the handle is stamped with 3F also. Please do research on Gorham hallmarks for more information on the date, etc. In great condition for its age with two small, minor dings on the handle as shown in photo 2, a couple of very small dimples on the body bowl side by the spout as I tried to show in photo 3, monogrammed as shown in photo 1. This beautiful coffee pot weighs approximately 653 grams of sterling silver. A lovely, important piece of old sterling silver from Gorham.

This is a stunning sterling silver demitasse coffee pot made by the highly regarded silversmith. Georg Jensen. Normal surface scratches do exist commensurate with age, but a nice patina still can be seen. Furthermore, there is a very faint gold wash in the interior of the pot to help prevent corrosion. The cream and sugar pieces are made by Aide Bros. in Birmingham. England and are vintage 1960. Aide Bros have been in business since 1906 and are also known for excellence in craftsmanship. Even though they are made by a different company than the pots, they are an exact match in design and style. The hallmarks are prominent on each piece of the set as to sterling, maker, place and date. I show the hallmarks on one of the Asprey pictures. Antique sterling silver Queen Anne style coffeepot. Hallmark reads Chester. England, Barker Brothers date 1914. Hallmark has rubbing, but readable. The only real flaw to this beautiful coffeepot is with the handle. As seen with the pics. There is damage to the ebony handle where it joins the teapot on the bottom. The ebony handle is intact on the top, but silver is intact with signs of previous repair by silversmith. A good silversmith could probably repair this damage. The only other flaw with this pot is there appears to be a dent at the base of the spout, as seen with the pics, but no damage to the silver itself in this area.again, a good silversmith good push this out. The ebony finial to the lid is perfect. Upon research prior to listing this item. I see that other sellers of the same vintage, manufacturer etc, pieces to this set at ... morequite a few hundred dollars.but, because of the handle flaw that requires repair, I shall list accordingly. The coffeepot stands 10" tall. 11" spout to handle. The sterling Hallmark for British sterling is the Lion Passant. Which this piece has. The hallmarks on the piece show rubbing, which is normal for a piece of this vintage. There are four hallmarks, one for maker, one for silver purity(the Lion) one for location(Chester) and one for year. The second picture on this listing is a picture of the Hallmarks. 925 stamping is not found on British sterling silver of this vintage, although the Lion Passant represents sterling silver 925.
