The metal is very thin and"soft"I can see why it would be easy to make a dent. There is no monogram. The rim is rolled. There is a floral/leaf design on the handle. It measures about 1 1/2" wide and approximately 1 1/4" high. I think it would be a neat gift to have monogrammed(after the imperfections are fixed) for a new baby or just as an addition to a cup collection or as a great piece of décor in a vintage/primitive kitchen! England in 1904 by the illustrious Victorian silversmiths, T H Hazlewood& Company at their Barr Street workshops. It is in a traditional shape and is raised on a superb high beaded pedestal base. It is NOT engraved. It measures 2" in diameter and stands 4 1/8" tall. It is quite substantial- it weighs 46.4 grams- which is virtually 1 1/2 troy oz. It is in very good condition for its age with just the usual surface scratching but only a few dings but NO dents. Up for sale is a magnificent antique Chinese sterling silver cup goblet. This is a wonderful 19th century piece in the Bamboo Aesthetic Nature pattern. Had a Bamboo stem with loads of bamboo leaves all around the cup. It is hallmarked in the edge of the base. In very good condition. Weighs 332 grams. Measures about 7.5 inches tall. RARE Korean Sterling Silver Cup Goblet Set 6 Seoul Crown Jewelers Sun Kwang Sol
Offering up a Highly unusual set of 6 Korean silver small goblets for bids here. They are in their original box. Looks to be from some sort of Crown Jeweler. Marked Sun Kwang-Sol of Seoul. Korea. These stand about 2- 7/8" tall and 1- 1/2" wide, and have a combined weight of 141 grams. each one is individually hand engraved with a flower and a bird. Definately not machine done as they are all slightly different. Bottoms are marked SILVER along with an unknown hallmark. I do realize that items marked"Silver" are typically silver plated as a general rule. As I have reasearched, Korean silver is one of the very few exceptions. These have been tested, and I do guarantee them to be high grade silver content. However, due to the fact that there is Very Little info available on Korean silver, I do not know the exact purity. In ... moreany case, they are all in Excellent condition but do have some mild tarnish. Don't miss out on this scarce set. UPDATE: I was recently informed by a fellow ebayer that Korean silver is not usually marked with a purity because it is not intended to be internationally traded/sold.
