Each piece has a stepped foot base, bakelite handles and an art deco-style band around the shoulder. The set probably dates from the 1930s to 1950s. please see photos below The set is made in Viner's Alpha Plate and the base metal appears to be either brass or nickel silver. Teapot capacity is a family-sized 2 pints. Condition is commensurate with age. There are no dings or dents but there is some plate loss. Antique Wallace Baroque Silver Plate 5 piece Coffee &Tea Set Service Beautiful
Estate find! This is a beautiful silver plate coffee& tea set. Each piece is marked: Baroque Wallace Silver Plate 1451 EPNS. Included are two tea/coffee pots with attached lids. One slightly larger than the other. I am assuming the larger is for coffee and the smaller for tea. A creamer with attached, sugar with an unattached lid, and another piece the same size and shape as the sugar without a lid, not exactly sure what it's purpose is. The creamer has had a repair done to the handle. I am not sure how strong the handle is and have been very careful in handling it just in case. Other than that the entire set is in great shape and really beautiful. I have included lots of pictures as well as some showing the handle damage/repair on the creamer. Up for grabs is a 5 piece International Silver Company tea and coffee set. The stickers/labels have been removed from the set. So we have no idea how old of a set it is- came from an estate sale. It is silver plated and needs cleaned, polished, and repaired. The taller pot has some serious issues, with a missing/broken top(handle) on the lid and numerous scratches on the plating(see the 7th picture) The rest of the pieces look fine and should only need a good clean and polish. The tray measures approximately 20 inches long(handle to handle) 12 inches wide, and 1/2 inch deep. It includes all the original components: coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, and matching tray. Each piece is stamped with the company name and maker’s mark. The wood is a rich macassar ebony. The tea set was manufactured in the 1930s by the Ercuis silver works in France. Ercuis. Which still exists today, has produced fine silver objects since the 1890s. This heavy, meticulously-crafted silver plate is comparable in quality and design to the art deco creations of Christofle. Total weight is 11 lbs 4 oz. Broken down as follows: Tray. 5 lb 14 oz. I do not have a lot of knowledge of silver. This is a set that was in my attic left from my family. It is in great condition. The teapot measures 8 3/4 inches or 22 cm high to the top of the lid, and is 8 1/2 inches or 21.5 cm wide from handle to spout. The pieces all feature a low foot with a bulbous base that tapers at the top. All the pieces are engraved with a fancy design of arabesques and flowers around the top and bottoms. Up for auction is an antique 5 piece silver plated coffee and tea service set in good condition. From what I can tell. T his set is from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It consists of tea/coffee pot. Sugar pot with lid, creamer, and serving tray. The coffee pot is stamped Wm Rogers with eagle and star on either side. The pot is further stamped"800" under the makers mark. The only piece carrying a stamp is the coffee pot. It measures about 9" tall and is about 9" wide from end of handle to end of spout. The creamer measures about 5 1/2" X 3" The suger pot measures about 6" X 4 1/2" The tray is large measuring about 24" X 15 1/2" This is a heavy set with about a 7.5 pound shipping weight. This auction is for a 1929 DANISH 826 Solid Silver Tea or Coffee set. This set is almost identical to set produced by Grann& Laglye from Denmark listed now for $4950.00 The set is hallmarked for 1929 and the assayer was Sigsgaard with the maker being A. Mathieson. This set is HAND MADE and quite beautiful with a Georg Jensen style Grape or Berry decorating the finial and handles of the set. If you look closely at the close-up photo of the silver. You can see the hammer marks from the maker. The set is 89 years old. This nice Gorham sterling silver tea and coffee service includes the 2 pint teapot(A2341) The 1 1/2 pint coffee pot(A2342) the waste bowl(A2343) the 7/8 pint cream pitcher(A2344) and the sugar bowl(A2345) The set is monogrammed. And it is in nice overall condition. Upon reasonably close inspection. I could find minor scratching consistent with normal use, one small visible dent in the coffee pot, and four other tiny dents in the other pieces. The dents are shown in the photographs. I see light random tarnish but no significant dark spots or corrosion. The covers fit well. And the handles are solid. The height of the 2-pint teapot is about 8 inches. And the total weight of the 5-piece set is about 56 avoirdupois ounces or 51 troy ounces(according to my postage scale and my calculations) A quick search of the internet shows that this Gorham ... moreButtercup tea and coffee service sells regularly for $3.200 to $7,400, apparently depending upon the condition, the age, the market, and other factors. The amount of handwork in this pattern is enormous. The tea and coffee service have ovoid bodies, upswept handles, and raised oval rim bases. Set of Six SOLID SILVER Butter/Tea Knives – possible military connection
For sale are a set of six solid silver Butter/Tea Knives. Beautiful set of six quality knives that have a crest engraved on the handle– I cannot fully decide what is written save to say that the main part of the crest is a bird surrounded by what appears to be a Scottish clan badge emblem. The knives are large– measuring nearly 22cm in length and. I believe, hallmarked for Sheffield 1918. Handles are in a good but used condition and the blades are marked with the makers name– GBBL– and two sets of marks resembling knots. Silver content is approx. 1/3 of the weight which is 370gms– so silver = some 120gms

This is labeled wm Rodgers 800 I don't know anything about it only that it was handed down and I used a little Tarn-x on it and as you can see from the pic's it cleans up pretty good. A five piece set with tray and each piece hand done and you know this one took some time to make. The tray measures 6" long so you know it's a large miniature set. The tea pot measures 2" x 2" and is heavy. The set is solid and all are marked with English proper hallmarks seen in the photo. Clifford David CCD inside concentric oval mark. Rare rare rare.
