You are viewing a 1971 Schwinn Fair Lady Sting-Ray. The paint on this bike looks really good. The front and rear fenders are also in great condition with no dents. The 20" S-7 wheels have some very minor surface rust that will come off with a little cleaning. All parts are original including the Schwinn Westwind tires. Serial number is CG088587. Vintage Retro Ringle Moby Seatpost 31.6mm Purple 3D Violet
On Jan-27-13 at 14:36:51 PST. Seller added the following information: Up for auction is my Ringle Moby seat post seatpost in 3d Violet/ Purple. It is from the halcyon days of the mid 1990's when cnc machines rules the biking landscape. It is in 31.6mm diameter and is uncut. As you can see in the pics it does have some wearing of the anodized finish from being inserted into the frame. But this is normal for any seatpost. The finish is still a deep purple with minimal fading. It does not have any cracks or is bent, but it may be a little dirty. Very cool violet light wand unit. This is one of the coolest of these units i have seen. It has a stand alone frequency generator by the Sterling Corporation with great logos and styling. The original cloth cords add to the vintage look of this collector piece. The unit has not been tested. Holo-Electron Paris C 1950's cased ultra violet set which I believe was/is thought may sort out skin ailments. Hair loss and a number of other things- It does work so far as the light goes on and it makes a buzzing sound but havent tried anything further than that. Would need buyer to check out electrics and operation. I have read that it shouldnt be used near things like heart pacemakers etc as it disrupts them etc. This item is really quite attractive with all of the implements still with it. the case closes with a couple of marks on it as per photo. Great object. This is a heavy object so have quoted worst case for Worldwide- outside of UK- would refund on postage if over estimated and/or ask for a price to your destination.
