For your consideration is a large immersion thermometer with a round gage that reads from 40 to 130 degrees Faremheit. The sensing element is connected to a section of 1/2 inch brass pipe with two fittings to allow the wareer to flow through the pipe and be in contact with the sensor. This was used at a darkroom processing sink to monitor the trmperature of the output of a mixing valve. It was in service for about 30.Years at the same location where the water was(and remains) very soft and mineral free. The thermometer is connected by fittings that will allow the removal for installation in another system if needed. It could also be taken apart for cleaning. Mexican Fish Pin, Vintage Sterling 925, 2 3/4 Inches Wide, 23 Grams
This is an older vintage Mexican fish pin with a very worn mark from age. The pin closure is heavier than what we see today. Very sturdy. On the mark the XICO for Mexico can barely be made out. There is a number 43 in the right position for appearing after the name of the city or town where this pin was made. The 925 is worn down to almost nothing. The pin has been poorly cleaned with a lot of very surface scratches. The pin is of excellent design and fairly large, measuring 2 3/4 inches wide from mouth to tail. The vertical measurement is 1 3/4 inches. It weighs 23 grams. This pin needs care and conservation, a classic piece of essentially fine work.
