This is an older vintage Mexican fish pin with a very worn mark from age. The pin closure is heavier than what we see today. Very sturdy. On the mark the XICO for Mexico can barely be made out. There is a number 43 in the right position for appearing after the name of the city or town where this pin was made. The 925 is worn down to almost nothing. The pin has been poorly cleaned with a lot of very surface scratches. The pin is of excellent design and fairly large, measuring 2 3/4 inches wide from mouth to tail. The vertical measurement is 1 3/4 inches. It weighs 23 grams. This pin needs care and conservation, a classic piece of essentially fine work.
