Old iron or rusty steel fence or gate ornaments. 9" high. 6 1/2" wide. One pound a piece. The round fasteners at the bottom are broken and you will have to devise a new way to attach them. These were found at Ridgely Manor, an estate in Stone Ridge, NY established in 1892.

They are roughly 6 inches tall with a half inch by half-inch square slot in the bottom for installation on iron Post. The original color was black but they now have spots of gold and or silver spray paint on them they also have slight corrosion or rust in certain parts but can be refinished if wanted or can just be displayed as they are for decoration. Vintage Carved Solid Wooden Acorn Finial - 2 1/2"
This wooden acorn finial looks older. But I cannot say for certain how old it may be. It stands 2 1/2 inches tall and at its widest it has a 2 inch diameter. The base has a diameter of about 1 3/8 inches and the hole in the base has a diameter of about 1/2 inch. This finial was very dry and I've cleaned it once with build-up remover and lemon oil; however, it's likely that it will dry out again. The finish is uneven and has wear and shallow scratches, which gives it a nice old patina. However, I believe that it could also be refinished. Posted with

Big French Green Opaline Glass Newel Post Finial
A lovely old French Opaline Glass Newel Post Finial. The Finial is made from a pale green opaline glass and the fittings are brass. When the light passes through the glass it is translucent and has an attractive paneled design because of the ribs. The Finial is BIG at 7 1/2" high x 3 1/4" in diameter. It has a threaded hole on the bottom which is approximately 5/16" in diameter. It is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. The only thing to note is a small gap on the bottom of the glass where it meets the brass, it is very secure so it is probably in the making. The brass has 2 dents where someone used a tool to remove it from it's newel post, see photos. The finial looks great as a decorative accessory and would be perfect in a Victorian decor. ANTIQUE OPENWING BRASS EAGLE FINIAL ON ORB- FLAG TOPPER- CLOCK MIRROR-DETAILED This is an antique eagle finial that may have been a flag topper. It was acquired at an antiques shop decades ago by a family member and has since been used as a decor piece. The open-winged eagle is solid brass and screws onto the orb below it. The pedestal base is also solid brass and has a threaded hole for attachment. The orb is sheet brass and shows usage. The eagle shows finely detailed plumage and other features such as the prominent talons. This was never a"cheap" piece. I have not attempted to polish any part of this finial because I know many collectors want to do their own cleaning/polishing. The piece measures about 4-1/16" high overall and about 2-3/8" across the wingtips. This attractive and desirable brass finial will definitely ... moreadd elegance when in place. Cast iron heavy eagle measures approx 6" across and 5" tall has some markings on the back that I'm unable to read PAT is the only word I can make out.
