This is a lot of two carved and painted vintage wood finials. The finial on the left measures 2 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" high excluding the dowel on the bottom and is 1 1/4" deep or thick. You are bidding on a Vintage Matching Set Dark Wood Wooden Carved Finials 5 1/2" tall Curtain? Furniture? Each finial is very nicely carved. They measure 2 3/4" in diameter at the largest point. Each finial measures approximately 5 1/2" tall from top to bottom. The shaft measures 1" in diameter and about 1 3/16" long. The collar is 2 3/16" in diameter. They are in very nice condition and may have never been used but I do not know that for sure. I am not an expert so please examine the pictures and determine condition for yourself. These are wonderful with dark turned wood finials with a lovely shape but the best piece is the copper finial cap on the top of each. They are screwed in and has a nice patina. I do not know the type of wood, certainly not pine, more like mahogany but not completely sure however, they do have weight. Up for auction is this set of 2 wood finials. They are both 3 1/2 inches tall including the peg on bottom. One peg is just a little shorter then the other. One is 2 inches wide. But the other is just under 2 1/4 inches wide. They do not appear to be painted and instead stained in a dark brown. I do have another pair listed, if you need more then two.
