Larege brass finials 5 inches in diameter
This is a pair of brass finials that could be from a bed. But if so they are larger than any I have seen. They are 10 inches in circumference, 5 inches in diameter and approximately 4.5 to 5 inches in height. They have wear, one has a noticeable dent and I have not cleaned them. Antique Architectural Plaque President McKinley Cast Iron Building Remnant
Up or auction is an antique architectural cast iron embossed bust of President McKinley plaque recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, but appears to have been cleaned. Some of the detail has weathered off from over the years. It is made of metal and does attract a magnet. This was probably produced at the turn of the century when McKinley was assassinated. Overall, this architectural sculpture measures approximately 9" x 10" in size. There is a makers mark, which is quite difficult to make out, and is best seen in photo#3. A great piece to be mounted and stabilized for display in any setting, formal to primitive. Large Cast Iron Architectural Pineapple Finial circa 1900
Ornate cast iron post finial and base. The finial is in the shape of a pineapple and it has very good detail. I think the finial dates circa 1900. The finial mounted on the base is 25" tall and the base is 9 1/2" wide. The 2 pieces weigh 35 pounds. As you can see there is a threaded mounting rod in the base. The finial and base are in excellent condition no chips or cracks. They will make a great addition to any garden.

VINTAGE CARVED MAHOGANY FLEUR-DE-LIS CREST: This is a very impressive and interesting carved crest. It is solid mahogany. Deeply carved in the traditional fleur-de-lis pattern. A black metal fleur-de-lis badge has been added to the center of the crest. The crest is approx. 19" tall x 11 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. There are a few missing end pieces at the bottom carving, and there is a missing piece on the right side of the upper carving. The missing pieces do not detract from the overall visual impact of the crest. A handcut/drilled hole has been made at each side of the piece. The finish is satin oil-rubbed dark mahogany. A drilled hole in the back of the crest is used for wall mounting of the piece.

UNUSUAL CARVED MAHOGANY FINIAL: This is a very nicely carved acanthus leaf finial. The finial is attached to it's original 1 3/4" ht. x 5" sq. solid mahogany base with the original square nails. The base has a small missing section at the bottom edge near one of the corners. It also has some nail holes.from where it was attached to it's post. The overall height of the mounted finial is 14 1/2" The carved round center body is approx. 4 3/4" diam. The finial also has a 4 3/4" circular base pad. But! The outstanding feature of the finial is it's open, see-thru, vertical acanthus leaf spire. All four long vertical leaf sections are separated by an open void. Set of 6 HEAVY CAST IRON Vtg/Antique ACORN FINIALS Fence Gate Post Tops Caps 5" Beautiful set of 6 of vintage/antique metal acorn finials. I am not sure of the age but they appear to be quite old. I believe that they are cast iron. They are thick and heavy. About 3 pounds each. The finials are painted black and stand approximately 5" tall. The bases measure 3" x 3 1/4" at the widest point with the interior dimensions being somewhat smaller. There are screw holes at either end of the shorter sides to secure the finials to the top of a post. It looks as if there are screw remnants in these holes and they would probably need to be drilled out if you plan on using them as intended. 3 of the bases have breaks(see pics) There is some wear and flaking to the black paint( you can see other paint colors in some areas) and also ... moresome rust here and there.
