This listing is for a Monkey Head. This is a very unusual and very unknown piece. The monkey is made out of cement with a screw post to be mounted as part of a statue or outdoor fence decoration. The monkey head could easily be used as a spooky Halloween décor. Fixed onto a staff or a number of other unusual purposes. The monkey head does look to be poured by a cast as there is a seam on his head but there look like some carving marks on his neck. His left ear does have a flat top. This is a quite superb wooden oak gothic finial with the pair of lion heads to either side with other carvings of which: During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the early period of the 19th century and is of a black forest origin. Dates about c1820. Wonderful overall intricate carved finial with the quite superb carved gothic lion heads to either side. Leaf and other to the top. Carved in relief. Which fits the standard residential 1 7/8" end post(they also made a larger 25 B and an even larger 25 A size) They measure about 4 1/2" tall. I believe this is either aluminum or some type of alloy, as a magnet does not stick to it. I believe this style of cap was used in the 1940's and 1950's. Furness American Victorian Modern Gothic cast iron house finial 26" Aesthetic
Here is a wonderful and rarely found cast iron roof finial from a Victorian house in Eastern Pennsylvania. The geometry and precision of the design recalls the work of Philadelphia architect Frank Furness. Unfortunately. I don't know where exactly this finial came from as it came from a local auction. H: 26, D: 11.5, W: 9" the finial top is solid cast iron and weighs over 30 lbs. Painted with a rust-brown color, it shows evidence of rust under the paint when turned upside down. Antique Wood Fence Finials or Furniture Finials, lot of 2
These finials are all wood. Measure about 5 inches tall. These came from an estate sale, I was thinking possibly to furniture or fence, most likely fence being they are weathered. My guess is that they are from 30's or 40's. One has most of the paint off and there are cracks as shown in picture. I am sure this is normal aging, unsure if could be sealed or repaired.

Set of 2 Unstained Solid Oak Wood Finials
Here are a pair of unstained oak finials. Intended for a 2" 2.25" diameter wood rod. However, we can see these as fitting the top of a newel post or some craft project. These are approximately 5" long x 3.5" diameter(at the widest point) They have never been used and still have the plastic protective tube over the screw; however, we no longer have the original packaging. Craftsmanship is perfect and the two finials match each other exactly.

Listed is a beautiful cast iron gold pineapple pole topper measuring 12 inches tall and weighing 11 lbs. It is threaded. Diameter approx 3 3/8. The paint has some wear as shown in picture but overall condition is great.
