LARGE VINTAGE URN STYLE WALNUT FINIAL 6 3/4" HIGH
This is a vintage 1940's urn style walnut finial. It measures 6 3/4" high x 3 1/2" in diameter at the bottom and is 5 1/2" in diameter at it's widest point. There is some wear to the finish and at the bottom where it was originally attached to a piece of furniture. It may be easier or better to apply using glue at this point. Great looking eagle in excellent condition. Has screwhole on bottom for mounting. Eagle strikes a great landing position pose. Very smooth and well made topper. Just over 6 1/2" tall. 3 1/2" from head to tail and 3" from wing to wing at the bow. It appears larger than it's dimensions to me. Probably because of the way it's posed. Large Antique Wood Furniture Finial. Pineapple Up for your consideration is this nice unusual antique wood furniture or architectural finial. Measuring about 6 1/4" tall. It is a rather pretty piece with a ball top to a bulbous center with carved leaf design coming off the bottom to the midsection, it has a peg dowel at the base, it has a flat section on the back at the center and at the base, I think the wood is walnut but cannot be certain. Nice piece with a primitive pineapple look.the peg has a diameter of about 3/8" the base is about 2" in diameter excluding the flat area, the flat area on the back is 2 1/2" tall and about 1 3/4" wide, the ball on the top is about 1 1/4" in diameter. Vintage Heavy Solid Metal 6 5/8" Flag Pole Topper/Finial Spear/Arrow Head
This finial appears to be older; however. I'm not an expert and cannot say for certain how old it may be. I believe that it's a flag pole finial, but I'm also not sure of this; it could be used as a fence post finial I suppose. I'm also not sure what metal it's made of. It has a gold-tone finish that appears to have wear. Please see the pictures for the details of this piece. I can tell you that it measures about 6 5/8 inches long with a diameter of 3/4" at the bottom. There is also a hole near the bottom for securing the finial to the pole. The spear portion is flat versus 3 dimensional. This piece is in decent used and vintage condition with some wear to the finish and perhaps a little bit of wear to the metal. It's fairly heavy for its size.

Offered is a large open wing eagle bolted to a half round beveled oak platform can be removed and used as a finial. For clock, mirror or flagpole, whatever you choose. He sits on a half-ball He is just a shade under 6" tall and 6 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" front to back. The platform is 9 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" deep at the front and steps up to 3/4" high with a notch cut into the back for his tail feathers. Good condition with no breaks. Scrapes or dents, but there may be some rubbing wear to the finish. He is heavy. And has a bronze looking finish, may be brass or brass over a heavy metal which does not attract a magnet. A set of 2 roof ridge finials made of metal that are marked: Klauer Dubuque with a Pat. date of May 6-19. The ball is apr. 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The straight part that is nailed to the roof is apr. 3 3/4 inches long. The overall length is apr. 6 1/2 inches. There is some light dings which we tried to show in some closeups. A nice set of vintage finials with old paint. The pictures should show the rest. Plenty of lighting was used to show as much detail as possible.
