Large Vintage Gold Colored Brass Eagle Flag Pole Flagpole Topper or Finial
Up for bids is a large vintage gold colored eagle flagpole topper or finial as pictured made from a non magnetic cast metal probably brass. The eagle would have sat on top of a flagpole in a county courthouse. VFW, American Legion Post or some other type of fraternal club or organization. It looks like an older piece from the 1950's or 1960's with lots of detail. It stands 8" high from the opening for the pole to the top of the head and measures 5 1/4" wide across the middle of the wings. The inside opening for the flagpole is 7/8" wide. In the pictures I just have it sitting on the handle of a broomstick. It does not come with a flagpole. Overall everything looks to be in good condition with no cracks or breaks.
