I believe it dates from the 1870s. It does have a tight hairline crack on bowl which extends down 1" It can be seen in the last picture. No chips or wear. Diam is 4 1/2" Excluding the handles.

This is a very fancy Victorian Sugar Shaker. The company Locke Worcester was only in business for a short time during the late 1800's. We are putting a little history about it at the end of the listing. The shaker has a beautiful lid with a heavy cast of brass with Silver plating. There is a darling little finial at the top of the silver lid. It is very finely made. The shape is just wonderful. The china is in the"pineapple pattern" This piece is only marked on the bottom with the potters mark. It does not have the company marking. This is very typical of Victorian items before 1898. After the McKinley Tarrif Act most all the china had to be marked to be imported. Before 1898. That was not the always case. The Sugar Shaker is in mint condition with no chips or cracks. Sugar Bowl is from 1890- In 1891 they started adding the words Royal Worcester. And this does not have that, so that dates it before 1891. It is marked with an"a" In 1890 the capital letter changed to a small letter and started again but the sequence was only to last for one ... moreyear. C reamer is from 1878- It is marked with an"N" which stands for 1878(I researched all the markings) It is quite possible that the"N" is a sideways"Z" but I don't think they would stamp it crooked but if it were to be a"Z"then it is from 1888. Now the details. I like to check things over with a magnifying glass and upon doing this I noticed there had been some work done on the handle of the creamer. There were some cracks that were fixed and even repainted. They did a great job because I didn't even notice it at first. And then there is a tiny chip on one of the feet of the creamer, you can't see it from either side when displayed. So someone really restored it well, the only thing you may notice after looking is that they got some of the gold paint on the surface behind the handle. I took pictures of all the imperfections up close- the last 4 pictures show the work done on it. The sugar bowl is in perfect condition. They are so beautiful and detailed; I can only imagine the exquisit table these must have sat at with all the ladies in the giant big dresses! Happy to combine shipping. We are very thrilled to offer this wonderful blue and white porcelain sugar bowl. Ca. 1780-1850. This sugar bowl is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks! This wonderful blue and white bowl is decorated with a Chinese dragon. This opening of this sugar bowl is 3 ½ inches in diameter. It is 5 ¼ inches in diameter at its widest points from side to side, the base is 2 ½ inches in diameter and it has a height of 3 ¾ inches without the lid. The lid measures 3 ½ inches in diameter and the lip measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter with a height of 2 inches. The overall height of the sugar bowl with lid is 5 ¼ inches. On the inside of the lip of the lid there are a couple of spots that were not glazed which is common of pieces of this age. This is most probably a Worcester or other English piece. It is 18th century Dr. Wall period porcelain. There was an old repair to the handle that I partially scraped off. The handle was in three pieces and reattached with all original pieces and there is a small filled in flake on the outer edge of the spout lip. Otherwise fine with no other damage or repair. There is a small discolored spot at the base rim area where the glaze was scratched and let in some dirt over the years.guaranteed not an old repair.
