These are marked Favorite Bavaria on the bottom and are signed by the artist Emma Gerhard and are dated 1910. Both are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little wear from use. The creamer measures about 5" from handle to spout and is about 4" tall. The sugar bowl measures about 5 1/2" from handle to handle and is also about 4" tall. Jelly or condiment jar, or possibly a sugar bowl. One side has the small hole for a condiment spoon, but it no longer has its spoon. This is an older piece and it does have crazing under the glaze. There are darker areas in the porcelain under the lid and in the bowl- I'm not sure if this was original color or aging- hopefully you can judge from pictures. The rim where the hen rests does show age as it the very edge is unglazed. It measures about 3 1/2 inches tall at the top of the head. The basket is ... moreabout 1 3/4 inches tall. It is about 4 1/4 inches from beak to tail and is about 3 inches from side to side. I know pictures can be deceiving. So the last picture is an attempt to show its size by a Coke can. It is stamped in black on the bottom: Highmount Made in Japan(see next to last picture) Except for the question of coloring. It is in great vintage condition. As I said above, It has crazing under the glaze. There is one small rough spot on the thin edge where the hen rest, but there are no chips, flea bites, cracks, repairs, etc. These were handpainted, and as you can see in the pictures, there is a line around the bottom of the hen that is unpainted. One or two very minor paint rub marks from normal use- I took lots of pictures which do enlarge so hopefully you can judge its condition. I am not an expert. Welcome! Up for consideration today is a beautiful three-toned luster ware. Sugar bowl. This hand painted sugar bowl features a floral design with a three-toned color scheme of beige, white, and blue. It does have a black accent stripe separating the design from the top of the bowl where the blue is located. There is some use wear on the bowl handles and on the blue knob on the top. There are no chips or cracks, and it has minimal scratches on the bowl. On the back of the bowl in the blue section there is a maker's flaw- please check the photos. Also, on the lid there does appear to be a very small section that might be chipped or it just lacking the glaze from when it was made- there is one chip on the underside of the lid rim. Beautifully modelled figural roosters or chickens. One a cream jug and one a bowl for sugar. Very nice soft semi matte cream colored glazed earthenware. I would think these vintage pieces date between 1900– 1920. Marked Germany, I have seen a similar piece marked with the Erphilia mark( Ebeling& Ruess) Philadelphia importers who commissioned and sold fine quality German pieces beginning in 1886. THIS BOWL WAS MADE AFTER THE 1930'S AND HAS SEVERAL ISSUES. THE FOREMOST ISSUE IS THE LID. WHICH HAS BEEN BROKEN AND REPAIRED. IN THE PICS YOU CAN SEE THE CRACKS THAT REMAIN AND ALSO A CHIP ON ONE END OF THE LID. THE SECOND ISSUE IS A CHIP OUT OF THE UPPER SECTION OF THE BOWL THAT HOLDS THE LID IN PLACE. Up for auction is this wonderful Irish Porcelain creamer and sugar bowl set. It is lovely with a rich green on the outside and blue inside. The bottom is marked Irish Porcelain. Made in Ireland. There is also a clover on the bottom with a K in the center. This set is in great condition. There is a tiny nick in the bottom, white base inner ring, of the creamer. There is also a little dimple on the outside rim of the creamer, which I think is part of the original creation. The creamer stands 2" tall and the sugar bowl 1 5/8" They are very nice! Thank you.

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE/ANTIQUE Creamer and Covered Sugar! Stunning pattern and intricate detail. NO crazing. Chips, worn paint at all! These were a set belonging to my great grandmother. They have been in her curio cabinet in her home, my grandmothers, my mothers, and mine. The only marking is a purple D on the lip of the creamer. They were used by great grandmother and grandmother. But as you can see from the pictures.they are in excellent shape. The bottoms are not even with scuff marks at all! The creamer measures 4.5" from the lip to the handle and the base is 2" X 2" and is approx 3.75" tall.
