ANTIQUE VINTAGE RUSTIC ENTRANCE HALL 33" WOOD SHELF This item came out of an estate in North Carolina that had many cool antique pieces. This was with a mirror(that was sold separately) that was dated around the late 1800's. A well made solid piece of furniture that can be used in an entryway or as a Trophy Shelf or for Clocks or placed below a Wall Clock or Mirror. As you can see in the pictures the nails are very old. I can't tell you a lot more about it other than it looks like it could be hung either way. The hanging hooks look like they had it hung with the carved backing going above the shelf. But it could be easily hung the other way. With the ornate carving below the shelf, making a deeper shelf space. The color of the finish is a dark brown(I would describe it as Walnut) And I am unsure of what kind of wood it is made ... moreof. Some of the photos make it look like Cherry, but it is not reddish, it is brown. The Dimensions are: 33" long by 5 1/2" high and 5 1/4" deep. the shelf Space would be 4 1/2" if the ornate back was pointed up. This is a very solid antique shelf with minor scratches. Vinatge Antique Shabby Cottage Victorian Chic White Wicker 3 Tier Shelf w/Hearts
This is a charming antique 3 tier folding wicker shelf with hearts and scrolls motif. It looks very old but has been re-painted and is in very good condition. The shelf-tops might be replacements. And there are two metal reinforcement bars attached behind the frame that might have been added later for stability. The shelf-tops are 1/4" thick clear plastic and are screwed in place by wing nuts. The wicker is tight and I don't see any broken pieces. But one of the curls on one of the hearts looks like it was glued. The repair is almost invisible and seems solid. There is also a frayed end at the bottom of one of the feet that could be glued back down. One of the shelves has a chip missing from the back corner, shown in the photos. The front ends of the top two shelves are suspended from chains attached to the wicker frame. And the ... morebottom shelf rests on a cross-bar between the front legs. With the plastic shelf-tops removed and the bottom legs folded back the shelves can be folded up flush against the frame. For shipping. The shelf-tops will be removed so the piece can be shipped flat. Assembled dimensions are: 17" L x 11 1/2" W x 58 1/2" H. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.
