Antique Vintage Lot 4 BRASS LION PAW Feet for Regency Drum Table Furniture Parts Up for sale is this Antique Vintage Lot 4 BRASS or BRONZE LION PAW Feet for Regency Drum Table Furniture Part. These came from a moving sale. I don't know exactly what these came from but they look like they might have come from an old Regency Drum Table. These are nice heavy feet and combined they weigh just about 3 lbs. Measurements: They measure about 2 3/4" wide and 3 3/8" long overall but the size rectangular piece of wood leg that would fit inside these is a maximum 1 11/16" wide. The max height of the leg part would be 2" tall but would need to be tapered I think to fit properly. Condition: Very good with original patina and dirt but no cracks. Chips or other damage. The brass on the inside and bottom which does not show is somewhat ... morerough or irregular. I have many other great items up for sale. Florentine Italian Baroque cassone(large chest.Marriage chest,blanket chest) from the late second European Renaissance period(17th century) These"immovables" were originally used at the end of the shared bed in a brides new bed chamber as blanket boxes, candle boxes, and to store other dowry necessities. The tops were often covered with pillows for bench seating as chairs were considered for people of importance only. Constructed with large, original blacksmith nails and walnut planks hand carved with Acanthus leaves and lion paw feet, references to the Roman and Hellenistic sarcophagi detailing in 16th century cassones.
