Mid-Century Stickley Cherry Valley Shaving or Dresser One Drawer Mirror
This is a harder to find gorgeous piece of Stickley. A very functional and stylish piece. This one drawer shaving or dresser mirror is by L. and J.G. Stickley of Fayetteville. New York. It is a mid-century piece in their popular Cherry Valley collection and made from fine solid cherry wood. It is stamped"Stickley Fayetteville" on the reverse and the remnants of the original paper labels are on the inside of the drawer. Unfortunately the previous owner thought it was a good idea to put contact paper to line the drawer, of course ruining much of the label. This particular example is in a slightly darker cherry finish than many other Cherry Valley pieces. It stands about 23" tall, 18.5" wide, and about 8" deep. Condition wise this piece is generally in excellent shape. It appears to have been gently used. But overall ... morethere are no major problems. I did notice two very small dark spots on the mirror, but they are barely noticeable unless you give it a very close inspection. I couldn't see any real scratches or areas of finish loss. It is a solid piece that would go well in a variety of settings. I will ship USPS Economy. Thoroughly packed with the mirror removed and wrapped separately. It is all original and the front drawer appears to have 2 small areas that were repaired but it is done very nicely so it looks great. The size is 22" high by 16" low by 8" deep. 1800's Shaving Stand Antique mahogany one drawer shaving stand with swivel mirror. Very well proportioned with nice lines. It looks good setting on most any style dresser. It has had some restoration over years in the way of some veneer patches, these were all done long-long ago. If it ever had back feet they are missing. It's been used like it is for so long the bottom has worn down a full 1/8" along the back. Drawer has nice wide dovetails. Dimensions: 18 3/4" tall x 14" wide x 6 3/4" deep. This listing is for a 1890 wood Mahogany Shaving Mirror with drawer. It is in very good condition with a nice patina to the wood. The mirror is tight and swivels to view. It has a tiny chips on the top wood on the mirror. USE ZOOM FEATURE TO VIEW. It is all original and the front drawer appears to have 2 small areas that were repaired but it is done very nicely so it looks great. The size is 22" high by 16" low by 8" deep. The drawer opens and inside it is 6" wide by 11" long. A beautiful piece to add to your antique furniture. Up for auction is an antique oak shaving mirror. I put this shaving mirror at around the turn of the century. The shaving mirror comes with a drawer and tilting mirror. The whole piece is about 22" tall and about 15 1/2" wide at the base. The entire piece is solid oak. The bottom with the drawer is primarily quarter sawn Oak. The mirror frame and brackets are not. Vintage Shaving Mirror Dresser Top Valet Cheval Style 1935
This is a very nice dresser-top shaving mirror with a pull out compartmented drawer and a tilt up cover with storage area for razor etc. The mirror frame is cheval style. Mounted between two posts, and secured in place with thumb screws that control the tilt of the mirror. The original mirror was bubbled and we replaced it with new. A photo of the rear of the original mirror with the maker and date of manufacture are shown in the photo. The dimensions are 23" tall, 19" wide, and 8" deep. The exposed mirror glass is 14.25" high and 10.25" wide. While this is a vintage piece it is in great shape and does not look it age.
