Up for bid is a antique Hekman cordial table. End table, nightstand, not sure as I'm not a expert and couldn't find out much about this. There is nothing to compare it to on ebay as for as age and name on the bottom and number. It reads Hekman Furniture Co. Grand Rapids Mich. 117, it has roses and leaves hand painted on top corners. This table is in pretty good condition. Normal wear for age, some scratches, and distressed areas and loss of color. But worthy of some TLC or restoration I think, but like I said I'm no expert. Also one of the feet has screws in it, Look at the pictures and ask questions if needed and if anyone has one of these or knows about it I would be interested. All castors roll and ossilate freely. Original label identifies it as made by"Toledo Steel and UHL Metal Furniture Co. This one came from a closed machine shop in New Britain. Monterey Furniture Small Painted Side Table with Olla and Cactus
Small painted table is not branded or marked but is likely Monterey. Table is 24” wide. 12 ¼” deep and 20”tall. There is overall light wear but she still sports most of her original paint including design of olla pot. Cactus, and bird in flight on the stretchers. Most of the paint is gone from the wood buttons covering the screw holes on top but the covers are all present. Still in good condition overall and sturdy. Marked with a faint number underneath, probably 780. This one is shippable.
