The painted gold top of the shelves are curved solid wood with a slot for displaying plates, frames, or your favorite treasures. Both scones have scrolled layers that form a heart like shape in the center. They also have scrolled patterns at both the base and on the outside edge. For your consideration an antique 1890's oak clock shelf. Fresh from a local estate. The shelf is made of solid oak. It is ornately carved in a victorian style and has been beautifully refinished. It has three mounting holes. There is an old age crack in the wood. It measures 24" in width by 7 1/2" in height by 6 3/4" in depth. GRAND ANTIQUE ORNATE CARVED WOOD LARGE 6 FT FIREPLACE SCREEN PIER MIRROR FRAME
ASOLUTELY STUNNING AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! We are pleased to offer this antique. Solid, carved wood fireplace screen frame. The frame is masterfully carved. The designs are not glued pieces, they are carved into the frame. The frame has 7sections. The top, two side frame pieces, and the bottom frame piece. There are also two side attachements with a bottom cross piece. Additionally, there are 4 arched feet. The frame featues exceptionally ornate and intricately carved wood. The top of the frame has very detailed leave and acorn carved design. This"headpiece" has an ornate arched lower section which is incised in a diamond design. Inside the diamonds are notches which make up 4 petaled flowers. A faux twist rope pattern is carved on the border. This topper is one piece of wood and attaches to the side frames at the upper ... morecorners(see photo12) The side frames are also incised/carved with overlapping leaves as well as the diamond cross hatched pattern. They are connected to side columns with dowls(there are no nail or screw holes present) The side columns feature turned wood with a gorgeous. Flower accent. The side columns continue to the ornate feet of the screen. The feet extend the same in the front and the back. They feature carved wood leaves with a bottom, carved flower. The feet are connected with a cross frame piece that is carved in an egg and dart design. The frame is exquisite. It is all carved with only 4 overlay pieces. These pieces are located at each corner. They are carved shells and are a much lighter colored wood. I am not exactly certain as to the type of wood. It is finished in a medium to darker brown stain. The four shell overlays are a golden colored wood. The frame is in extremely nice condition with very few dings or scratches. It has been beautifully preserved. This very large and very ornate frame at one time housed a lovely tapestry but it is gone. It would make a fantastic standing room divider/dressing screen or an amazing mirror frame. Ornate heavily carved living room set couch and 2 chairs
Purchased this set from a retired bed and breakfast operation. The previous owners purchased it through an antique store out of minneapolis mn. This set is structurally in great condition. I intended to recover it but never got around to it. It is very striking and we have always gotten compliments from it. ORNATE OAK CARVED CHILDS CRADLE CRIB DOLLS BEARS VICTORIAN HORNER?
22" x 42"Headboard 41" tall,Footboard 33" tall.Cradle was in very good to excellent condition when found but refinished about 20 years ago.Can not find any labels or markings but it sure looks like it might be made by HORNER.Mattress boards replaced and brass hardware on foot board for locking an unlocking to be able to rock.Brass bar for locking can be placed on other side depending on what side of cradle you might place against the wall.All other hardware is original cast iron with a nice patina,original wood wheels also.All wood carving excellent,nothing patched or missing.I do have a 4" thick foam semi hard pad that can go with it if desired and a plain white cloth dust ruffle that we use to tack on the inner side of cradle.We used it with our four grand children and it was great! Vintage Very Ornate Carved Primitive Feel Buffet / Hutch w/CupBoards
this may have age. I Honestly do not know, I have owned this for some time, and I am letting it go, I am unsure as to where it is from, But it has a Very Primitive almost hand made type of look and style, three cupboards below, each has a door, the two side by side take a key to open and lock, and the key is with this and shown, also two small drawers on the upper portion, and I have No Real idea as to the top portion, the two hinged panels that open and show the wall, you could have a picture on the wall or maybe a mirror as I did, there is a Bad Foot, I repaired it the best I could, it completely broke off, but the piece is stable, and anyone who has more experience than I, I am sure could repair this foot much better, I drilled in the back side a few screws to hold it on, other than this being used as in Not new, I do not see any other ... moreissues, I love it, but I am lightening up the load. if you would like more information, Please feel free to email, also this is a Pick Up Sale Only! and must be settled prior, I will be flexible to your schedule as Best as possible. also if you are immediately unhappy, I will gladly Refund your PayPal payment.
