The beads are oval, not round, roughly 3/4" long with a smaller diameter. The dimensions vary. There are 2 hinges per side with some screws replaced. Chains connect the top. The underside of the table is rough grain, not smooth, not visible from the top. There is some damage (pictured). There was a handle on the top bar. There is a broken dowel at the end of one side. Cuz is old outdoor scene of two men, two women, one couple standing, the other sitting at a table under tree. In fact, I'd planned to ad some light COLOR(light water color) to people, but don't really have room for this piece. This dates to the late 1800s and is made of solid Oak. It has an ornate stick and ball motif with a diamond shaped Beveled mirror in the center of the large front circle. The bentwood piece in the center have fancy ornate brass caps and the ones on the bottom and top ends also have brass caps. The wide wall frame is the same lovely golden oak. The frame measures 19 1/2" by 16 1/2" The magazine rack will open to about 12" deep. There are brass chains on both ends and you could adjust the depth if you wanted to. Hello and thanks for looking! This is a beautiful Victorian style stick and ball lamp table in a cherry finish. It has the barley twist legs and center as well. It also features the ball and claw feet as seen in the pictures. The measurements of this square table are 25 3/4 x 25 7/8 by 29 3/4 inches high. This table has been professionally refinished at some point in the past and has a nice cherry finish. There are some light scratches on the top but nothing very serious. As shown in the last picture there have been screws added to the underside of this table. The only markings I can find underneath is a#401. It has the look of A Merklen Bros. table but I am not sure that it is. Please use the pictures as part of the description or ask questions prior to bidding.
