Up for sale we have a very fine Eastlake Walnut commode with rare veined marble top. The commode is in all original condition with strong sturdy construction. This piece dates from the 1880 and has all the drawers and door full working order. The wood has beautiful graining with burled wood right on the front of the drawers. The hardware is very unusual for a small piece as it has large brass backplates with lots of Victorian detail. The marble is a rare color and texture with little fossilized pieces throughout. There did used to be a back splash that was on the back of the marble. But like many of its kind it is lost. There are still some holes in the marble top that can be expertly filled and polished invisably. We will have this done if the piece does not sell on Ebay. It's all original including finish. The marble is also original but has some damage(see photos) This shaving stand measures 16 1/2" X 19" and is in very nice condition. Made of solid black walnut with no breaks in the legs. A very nice fancy pedestal base. The drawer has original brass escutcheon and lock- pinned dovetails. This model originally had a mirror that stood on a pole through the marble top and height was adjusted from the back. Someone has filled the hole in the marble but it could easily be removed. Beautiful. All original VICTORIAN solid walnut. Antique WHATNOT CURIO ETEGERE SHELVES. Circa 1850-1890. This shelf unit has wonderful solid construction. It has the original finish. No broken or missing parts, or no missing or replaced screws. The curio is 5' 0" tall. With graduated shelves. Shelf measures are three sided(from bottom to top) two. 2'0" X 17 1/4, one. 20 3/4" X 15, one. 17 1/4" X 12 1/2, and one 15" X10 3/4. The finish shows no signs of sun damage and normal"ware and tear. This rare and Fancy Walnut Victorian Eastlake Magazine or Music Stand with Ornate Carvings and Horse Hoof Feet(Circa: 1880) This Beautiful Stand measures 36 in total height, 17 and 3/4 in width, 17” in depth. The details on this rare Walnut Victorian Stand are extremely ornate! The beautiful rectangular adjustable Magazine holder has painted harps on both sides. This is what caused me to believe it may be a music holder. This wonderful configuration designed with handle on the top center. The top part of this fabulous stand has the original chain that allows for adjustment of how much it is holding on either side with a stout divider in the center. And strong outer pieces painted with the harp and scrolled corner motifs. The entire stand is very stout and in excellent condition. The chains on it now are a more recent replacement. Original finish. Nice curved edge to the top of the stand. Some water damage to the top(it was a plant stand after all) and some slight warpage to the top, but nothing that affects stability. One small piece appears to be missing from the front of one leg, but not from the bottom so doesn't affect stability either. The mirror features a fancy top with a cutout design, half columns, and two end caps, while the sides of the mirror have reed and carved cutout designs. CURVED Walnut? Victorian Display Rack & Candle Holder Photo Spindle Wall Shelf
This is the real deal and NOT one of the super common repros out there. Approx circa 1890. Near perfect overall condition. Solid walnut or mahogany. Bottom board and top rail are both nicely beveled. Fluted spindles across the front. Beautiful rich patina. Side columns have finials below and candle platforms on top. May have been salvaged from a wall mirror at one time. Great to display family photos. Plates, nic nacs, artwork, carvings, stained glass, you name it. It measures 21 1/2 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches tall. Usable shelf space has 3 1/2 inches of depth.
