This is an 19 th century walnut Eastlake mirrored towel rack. It measures 19 ½” X 16” overall. The mirror measures 17” x 4 ½” There is a head carved at center top. Some ornamenture at the top has been broken off and lost. These probably would have been leaves as suggested by others I have seen. It is otherwise in very good condition.

I have completely reglued the rack. It looks to have been refinished at some point. There are no cracks in the wood or drill holes for hanging. There is no indication that there was ever a mirror on this rack. It has no routing on the back where a mirror might have gone. The rack measures 20 1/2" wide and approx. 9" tall. Nice antique piece for an old bathroom.

Wonderful Antique Pine Shelf w/ Drawer, Towel Rack
This is a fabulous antique pine shelf. it is very old. The shelf measures 19" X 7 3/4" and is 7 3/4" deep. It has a beautiful finish on the wood showing some signs of old dark green paint which are very subtle. There is a little drawer under the shelf with a pretty brass pull on it. There is also a towel bar. There are 3 places where the wood is cracked but it is very stable. This has so much charm and character!
