Here we have a estate find vintage flamed maple wood nesting tables. A Ebay member told me their made by Milo Baughman please see for your self.They are very solid& heavy very well made not sure if its solid stainless steel or chrome. The wood has inlay with circles in middle of each one. The legs and underneath the wood its solid stainless steel or a chrome. Those are just fingerprints smudges you see underneath on the chrome. the bigger table is over 22 inches wide and a little taller then 24 inches. the second bigger one is almost 18 inches wide and almost 23 inches tall. The little one is 14 1/2 inches wide and a little taller then 22 1/2 inches. their still in good usable condtion very nice color wood no major floors. The middle one has a piece of scotch tape underneath on chrome i forgot to take it off the price tag was hanging ... moreon it the piece of tape peels right off. The other first biggest table has a tag on bottom it was a auction item tag please see pictures it will show you what it says. Also i may add thickness on top of round table part wood about 1/2 inch thick. Two very nice solid maple nightstands or could be used has end tables if put back to wall. The wood is in great shape for age. The finish needs some touch up or use as is with aged patina and character. These nightstands were made by the forest furniture company which I believe went out of business. The inside drawer is marked Forest solid maple as seen in the pics on one of the nightstands. The drawers are dove tailed on the front and back. Vintage end tables 50's 60's 70's formica top original brass feet maple finish
Pair of vintage end tables or night stands from the 1950's. 1960's, or 1970's covered in a smooth formica surface. The tables are constructed of hard wood, maybe pine, with a maple glossy finish. The second tier has a sleek curved design and the perimeter has vertical hand driven post decorations. Two of the legs are a little loose and can be easily repaired if necessary, all legs will be removed for shipping. The tables have some signs of typical wear for a vintage item. They are in the style of Baumritter for Ethan Allen or Cushman. They are constructed of solid(no veneer) maple and birch. The tables are a unique, 2 tiered design. They feature a single top drawer and a very nice, lift up(breadbox style) storage compartment. The drawer has a 3, raised panel design with white glass knobs. The lift up door is set an angle and features an incised/carved detail and an ornate pull. The legs are chunky and are set at an 90 degree angle against the scalloped skirts which gives the tables a very interesting look. The tables are VERY HEAVY and very sturdy. Very nice pair of Mid Century tables. Tables feature solid maple construction and Early American/Colonial style. The pair have scalloped aprons and ledge on upper tier. They have a large"breadbox" style magazine holder with a pull out door as well as a wide drawer with dovetail construction. The hardware is brass and is original. The drawers have a unique. Faux, newspaper or newsprint lining which is also original. The turned wood legs are set at an angle for further interest. The tables do not have any marks or manufacturer's stickers. They are of very nice quality, very sturdy and heavy. They are very similar to Ethan Allen's"Baumritter" pieces of this same era.
