Condition: Used Location: Ossining, United States This was the Packard Bell flagship model. Has original hang tag on stereo- says"150 watts" Extremely well constructed Rosewood cabinet with ... morea hinged door on each side for the speakers. Has a great design that makes it look like a Florence Knoll cabinet. PLEASE NOTE: The cabinet displays well- but does have some inconsistencies to the clear coat finish on the wood. I cleaned off the many years of accumulated surface dust with some furniture polish. In one pic I have the speaker cloth covers removed to show the speaker setup. There are no veneer chips or gouges or deep scratches but there are some imperfections. I don't feel that they detract from the overall impact of this piece- but I want to be clear that it is a nice looking vintage piece that is not perfect. There are some faint waves to the veneer in a few areas- not actual bubbles or lumps- just some faint waves. You can kind of make it out in the pics so please look at them and email any questions. There are a few areas on the surfaces that have a slight haze when you look at them from certain angles in direct light. The chrome on the legs is not rusted and is in nice condition without pits. There are no water stains or sun fading areas- but there is a small area on the top surface of the far left side that has a slight light spot. This side also has some very light feathery scratches. There is also an area to the front panel- center bottom where there is a slight light area to the finish- you can see both of these areas in the pics. I don't want to make the piece sound bad- just trying to go over the top and be super critical so that I convey the piece accurately. The cabinet is ready to display as is- but if you wanted perfection it would certainly be an easy piece to restore. This is a seldom seen model of vintage Packard Bell stereo equipment. Pair Victorian Rosewood corner shelves
A matching pair of spool Rosewood corner shelves. Difficult to find a matching pair. With 5 shelves each and nice finial on three sides top& bottom, with what appears to be the original wire hangers on each. Looks to be original finish and no damage that I can find. Each measures 27& 1/2 tall and approx. 12 inches across the front, 7& 1/4 inches from corner to front edge. I tried to take pictures that show the beautiful Rosewood as best as possible. Here we are offering a simply remarkable and rare find. What this is is a solid rosewood regency or renaissance room divider. Each side is identical to the other. In the crest on both sides is a hand-painted crest of what looks to be a cornucopia and fruit bowl in gold leaf. Extending up both sides are beautiful braided and turned columns that flow continually sitting upon cantilevered feet. It is a very strong piece not looser wobbly. It retains its original finish and we simply cleaned it to the spectacular finish.we just had these curtains made for it and selling out of a high-grade gold silk better correct and accurate for its age.
