This antique Duncan Phyfe solid mahogany wood magazine rack measures 16' wide. 17' tall at the center cutout handle and is 12' deep. There are some markings on the bottom, but there is not a company makers name or stamp. The surface has some scratches and the finish on some edges are worn. There are a few small nicks. The center divider with the handle moves slightly when lifting the piece. Overall this piece is very solid and secure. The side panels and decorative slats on both sides are thick and heavy solid Mahogany Wood. 3/4' thick side panels and 1/2' thick slats. Beautiful warm rich color with a great patina. This piece is all original. Has Not been refinished or touched up. No Reserve! Price includes packing materials.

Antique Valet Stand This is a vintage valet stand or dressing rack. It is composed of wood that is stained a dark brown. It has a"hanger" at the top for hanging a coat or jacket. Just below the hanger is a small tray for change or keys. The stand measures just over 48" in height. The base is 17 1/2" by 14 1/4" It is in great condition overall with small signs of age or use. There are some small bumps or scratches. Mainly on the base, which I believe would be expected with general use and age. We also noticed what looks like a burn mark(I'm not sure how else to describe it) and a split in the wood on one leg. This does not affect the stability of the piece and is only visible when you are looking for it. Please see pictures for more details. Antique Folding Oak Stand Rack marked Haverhill Mass May 1st 1904 JEG This antique folding stand is constructed with 5 pieces of wood(oak? measuring 37-1/2" long x 1-1/4" at the widest part x 1/2" thick. It is marked Haverhill Mass. May 1st 1904, JEG. I don't know its exact function but I used it as a quilt rack for years. Standing it is 31-3/4" high and folded it is 37-1/2" x 5" It is in good condition with no cracks or nicks; the shellack is worn and crackled but it does not detract from the aesthetics of the piece. The piece has some cracks to the wood- these are near the center of the rack- and show some glue on the back.
