Up for auction is a very Rare antique upholstery/furniture roller stamp. The roller stamp reads: UPHOLSTERER FINE FURNITURE CHARLES RITTMANN 61 HIGH STREET PAWTUCKET DRAPERY AND LACES; CABINET MAKER and FINISHER; Shades& Fixtures; Interior Decorator; Mattresses Spring Beds The width of the wooden roller is: 3 1/2" The diameter of the wooden roller is: 3 1/4" The wooden handle measures 6" long. Over length of the roller stamp is 11 3/4" Overall width of the roller stamp is 4" The lettering of the rubber stamp is adhered to the wooden roller. The lettering is in very good and legible condition. The roller is spring loaded to return to it's original starting position for the next manufacturing label inking. The wooden handle is attached to a metal Y-shaped metal arm. This metal arm supports the rubber stamp roller ... moreand internal spring-loaded mechanism. The ends of the Y-shaped metal arm have various groves to rest on the inking tray. This is a very rare Charles Rittmann upholstery/furniture stamp from circa early 1800's. Only a handful of these were produced and used for his business in Pawtucket. Rhode Island. Not even sure how many of these still survive today and this might be one of the last known to exist. Antique Vintage Lot 4 BRASS LION PAW Feet for Regency Drum Table Furniture Parts Up for sale is this Antique Vintage Lot 4 BRASS or BRONZE LION PAW Feet for Regency Drum Table Furniture Part. These came from a moving sale. I don't know exactly what these came from but they look like they might have come from an old Regency Drum Table. These are nice heavy feet and combined they weigh just about 3 lbs. Measurements: They measure about 2 3/4" wide and 3 3/8" long overall but the size rectangular piece of wood leg that would fit inside these is a maximum 1 11/16" wide. The max height of the leg part would be 2" tall but would need to be tapered I think to fit properly. Condition: Very good with original patina and dirt but no cracks. Chips or other damage. The brass on the inside and bottom which does not show is somewhat ... morerough or irregular. I have many other great items up for sale. Vintage / Anitque Metal Furniture Coasters Floor Protectors
Up for sale are these vintage metal furniture coasters. There are two sizes. One is almost 3 inches across and the other is 2 1/4 inches across. There are 16 of the larger ones and 4 of the smaller ones. The larger ones are really dark brown or could be black. The smaller ones are a brown and black mix. The larger coasters are in good shape. But the 4 smaller ones have paint chipping off from where the furniture was. They both have the felt fabric on the backs. Most of my items are of vintage age, they are not perfect. I will never describe any items as"mint" as I am not a professional. I try to list anything that I find wrong with the item, but please remember they are vintage and not perfect. From a local estate. Here is a set of(4) glass caster cups in the original box. These were made by Anchorglass(Anchor Hocking) this is the larger 3" size, they are 3" across the bottom, 2 1/4" across the top of the cup. Mint in original box, no chips, cracks, or wear, probably unused. I did take these out and wash them, the box shows heavier wear and soil from decades in storage.
