THIS ITEM IS-COPPER AND STEEL REBAR WELDED TREE SCULPTURE This sculpture was made by H.K Pang I believe in the mid sixties. The tree is aprox 9 1/2 inches tall and sits atop a 1/2" hard wood base. Probably chestnut, for a total height of aprox 10 inch. The tree is well proportioned and great care was taken with the roots on the trunk and the forks of the branches. For sale today is a restored is a smaller size stagecoach style humpback steamer trunk. The restoration of this great old humpback turned out very very nice. The pictures do not do it justice. I found two patent dates on the center lock of March 1869 and April 1877 which makes this awesome old humpback as much as 136 years old- a true antique. This trunk was in good solid condition when the restoration started and the wood bottom is solid and the wood has been clear coated several times. There are three slats and four metal wheels on the bottom and the trunk rolls easily. The trunk has the two original hinges which are HD.Fancy, tight, work well and the lid closes well. It has 26 pieces of original polished hardware. Still has the original center lock which has been polished and there is no key. This trunk was in good solid condition when the restoration started and the wood bottom is solid and the wood has been clear coated several times. Antique Wicker Trunk XL Turn Of The Century
Wicker steamer/picnic trunk from turn of the century. This is an extra large trunk 28"long. 22"tall, 20" deep. It has three forged metal pieces that hinge it and three forged loops in the front that a metal or wooden bar slid through to secure it. That piece is no longer with the trunk. It had rope handles, one is missing, the other in fair condition. It is sturdy for its age but the wicker is damaged in different places, I tried to photograph as best I could. Very dusty. For sale today is a medium size nicely restored Jenny Lind trunk and the restoration turned out just awesome! I did not find any patent dates on the trunk and based on 40 years experience restoring trunks I would date this trunk to the 1860's to 1880's which makes this wonderful old Jenny Lind a 140 plus years old- a true antique. Jenny Lind trunks are rare and in big demand. I have restored over 500 trunks in the last 40 years and this is my fifth Jenny Lind. This trunk was structurally sound when the restoration started and it has a good wooden bottom. The wood has multiple coats of clear applied and has the three original slats on the bottom. It has the two original hinges that are tight, work well and the lid closes well. It has the original center lock, it has been polished, does not work and no key.
