These rarely come up for sale and the last one on ebay was about 4 months ago and ended with a"reserve not met" at $1221. There are a few currently listed in the $2000-4000 range elsewhere. Unfortunately. Our new house doesn't have the space for it! This one is in very good vintage condition and has been reupholstered at some point in the past. The upholstery is in perfect condition with no tears/pulls/stains/smells and I'm pretty sure it's an expensive WOOL fabric. It features a geometric pattern in blue and yellow(the color mix makes it look greenish from a bit further back) The foam is still very soft which leads me to believe it was replaced when the chair was reupholstered. There are a few minor scuffs on the walnut base but they're barely noticeable. I don't think they're worth sanding/re-polying. The back measures 31 inches high from the ground. Seat width is 24 inches(28 inches outside of arms total) The depth of the chair is ~33 inches. While the rocker base measures 32 inches deep. The height to the top of the armrests measure 24 inches. Local pickup is preferred. But I can work with your shipping company of choice to get this to you. I know a lot of people use TSC Moving to ship furniture safely( Because of the value. Antique Victorian Solid Oak Mirror Beveled Glass 1800's Handcarved Primitive
Here is a early to mid 1800's solid oak mirror with beveled glass. For its age. It's in great shape. The mirror itself could use some attention but there are no cracks or scratches. The top left corner of the glass shows some deterioration. The mirror is still quite clear and vivid. The glass also has a couple of air bubbles in it. The frame is made of solid oak with nice joints on the top corners. The carving up top was all done by hand as is simple yet very elegant. The frame measures 20.5" wide x 17" tall(measured from the top of the design carving) The frame is approx 3/4" thick. It had a solid wood back that is nailed to the frame. There is no hanging hardware installed but you can easily reuse the holes from what was previously there. This is a really great piece that has a lot of stories to tell! c.1890 American SOLID OAK pulpit or lectern, NR
This is a solid oak pulpit or lectern of about 1890. Which was found here in Philadelphia. As you can see, it's truly gorgeous solid oak, and as you can also see, it needs some tightening-up and finish work(please look at all the pictures) but the only missing bit is a couple bits of trim around where the drop-in lectern top goes. Please note that this puppy is quite heavy, so it's strictly a pickup only piece(though I might be able to deliver it within a reasonable distance of Philadelphia for a fee) As a result of these items, it starts low with no reserve. Antique Solid Oak Marble Top Vanity Washstand with Tiled Backsplash
Up for auction is a beautiful English Arts& Crafts style oak and marble top washstand with tile back splash. Circa 1899. The marble is in very good condition and is very heavy. The 10 green tiles in the back splash framed in oak are very pretty and in great condition. It was very hard to photograph the tiles and marble because of the sun and reflections. The backsplash sits loosely on the cabinet and needs to be tightened. The English oak cabinet has two traditional paneled doors with oval brass handles. There a crack inside the right door that does not show when the door is closed. The simple straight leg design is typical Arts& Crafts. The lower left leg of the cabinet is a little bowed. You are bidding on an antique solid oak pipe holder and canister. With mirror image cast iron dragons and chain hanger. I believe the item to be from the early 1900's. The display rack is 1"wide and 25"long. The canister is 4"wide and 6"tall, with a 3"x 3" interior storage space. Both dragons are 5.5"wide and 5"tall. The whole unit from the center of the chain, to the bottom of the canister is 15"tall when mounted on a wall. This is a nice way to display up to ten vintage pipes. We have had this bar forever it seems like. It has been all over the country with us. We are moving AGAIN(lol) back to Alaska and it's time for it to go to a new owner. It's very heavy and very solid. It is missing one of the brass foot rails as shown in the picture. All of the metal and counter top is solid brass. Refinished with an exterior Spar Urethane for protection against outside elements, rain, sun, etc. All screw holes pegged and finished. This is a lovely one of a kind piece that can be used inside or out. It measures 52 inches long, 18 inches deep and 31 1/2 inch tall. The back is 16 1/2 with the seat 13 3/4 inch deep.
