This is a complete Thomasville dining room set, featuring 2 chairs with arm rests, 4 chairs without arm rests, and a massive hardwood table that expands by up to 2 20-inch leaf inserts. This dining room set has been well-cared for over the years. Some of the legs on the table and on chairs have a certain degree of sun bleaching, but this does not affect the integrity of the furniture. One of the chairs has a gash near to where the dowel inserts on the back, although the chair is perfectly functional. As for measurements. For sale is a fantastic vintage gilt lily table and chairs breakfast/dining set! The set is attributed to Arthur Court and has also been made by Drexel. No marking as to the manufacturer other than Kessler stamped into the metal under the chairs. The gilt is mostly intact on the table. The chairs has some loss all over but mostly the backs have the most gilt loss with one chair having more gilt loss on the back than the others. Has new cheetah fabric. Great lines. Very unusual and a work of art! The glass top is badly scratched and should be replaced. Table measures 27 inches tall and 42" wide, with glass included. Solid and sturdy chairs that have remained in excellent condition, especially considering their age. Hi. All original Wisconsin Chair Co. mahogany dining set. Older, never refinished set. Same as when I purchased this 15 years ago. All five chairs are nice and tight and the table hardware is all in great shape. There are no chips in the tables edge, one small ding in the surface, and all the trim is intact. Same with the 11 1/2" leaf. Does have some light surface scuffing that can be seen at the right angle. The table is 30" high and 48" X 32" without the leaf. Chairs are 33 3/4" high at the back. Don't know what year this is from, the table top seems to be some kind of laminate, tougher than any kind of top I have seen before. There are tags on all the chairs and one on the table. I'm guessing the early forties from the real tax stamp. Looks like postage stamp but used for tax purposes. Prefer pick-up of ... morethis set but shipping can be arranged. This particular set belonged to the equivalent of my great grandparents, so I know they were manufactured before 1950, however I do not know how to date them any more specifically. They all 4 seem sturdy and hold weight well. Cosmetically. All 4 chairs show signs of aging a wear. A thorough cleaning and oiling would probably do wonders for the wood. I'm not sure if anything could be done to restore the seat cushions, but it appears you could probably replace and/or recover them. This set consists of two arm chairs and four side chairs. They chairs are unmarked. But I believe they are the Carolina Chippendale chairs, made by Hickory Chair Company from their James River collection. They are probably 30 to 40 years old and have minor scuffs, consistent with age. The upholstery has a few small stains, but no tears in the fabric, and they could be used as-is. Wisconsin Chair Company Dining Room Set
This small dining room set is unique. It was made by the Wisconsin Chair Company which went out of business in 1959. It is the only set of its kind that I could find after months of searching. It is dated to around 1941. The Wisconsin Chair Company tags are still on this furniture. The directions to the home of the people who purchased it- who did not have an address- is still on the back of the china cabinet. There is also a tag on the bottom of the table from Woodward& Lothrop which went out of business in 1984. I believe it is made from beech wood. The Wisconsin Chair Company started in business in 1889 in Port Washington. Wisconsin. It suffered a fire in 1899 and was rebuilt. It began a large business with the popular rocker. And another right in the middle on one side(both pictured) The table is quite structurally sound despite them, however. There is also one large, straight scratch on the tabletop in one corner that's about 5" long(also pictured) The legs are a slightly different shade of red than the top, and I'm unsure if this is original to its manufacture or if the legs have lightened somewhat from sunlight. Early ABS plastic furniture is known to be susceptible to UV ray discoloration; white and lighter plastics tend to yellow and darken, and darker plastics can lighten or fade. As you can see from the photos, however, the difference in color is not significant enough to detract from the overall appearance. The table measures 32" square by 28" tall. The chairs are all in excellent shape but do have minor scratches and light scuffs common to decades of use. Up for sale is this Set of 4 Beautiful Hand Carved Tudor Style chairs. I believe they are oak or Mahogany. But I am not positive on this. This is based on my research of the items. As you can see they are very unique. All chairs are solid. They do have some nicks and scratches as shown in photo which is not surprising for their age. I have tried to show all flaws. One of the chairs has a piece broken/missing on the back which can be seen on the close up picture. Over all good condition on the set. The upholstery needs to be cleaned. This is a vintage set of four Dining Chairs from the Cal-Style Co. of Compton. California. These have a padded'acorn brown' Tannery' Vinyl covering on the seats-a wonderful soft'faux leather' look. Each is mounted on a cast aluminum swivel base on four plated brass casters with plastic wheels. These date to 1979, and measure about 36 in. tall/18 in. at the seat/17 in. square on the base. This set has light wear: one chair has a small hole on a front corner/otherwise they are a little dusty with light handling wear.
