What a really rare find and ready for display or for all your tobacco needs. It is sturdy and does have a little bit of a wobble when on a flat surface but can be an easy fix just put some feet or felt on the bottom. Stands 26 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter at base. Ashtray base is 7 inches in diameter and ashtray 4 inches round. A great find a super cool starburst glass ashtray that sits in a 1/4 inch grove so so worries about is sliding off. Lot of four. Vintage, used, old, handmade, wood, wooden, desk, cabinet, rough cut, storage drawers. These items show overall wear including scratches. Scuff marks, discoloration, staining, and there are nicks and chips found to the wood. The three largest drawers included appear to have been handmade. Including the handles. Vintage Wooden Foldable Mitchell Lap Table/Portable Work Desk Industrial US Made
Interesting and unusual find: Vintage antique wooden foldable lap desk or travel work table. Made by the Mitchell Moulding Company Park Forest, Illinois. Called the Mitchell Lap Table, this table has wrought iron side bars adjustable by wing nuts. It folds flat for travel or portability. It is meant for the lap, and not to stand alone on a surface, as the legs are foldable. The underside is covered in green felt. It is definitely pre-1950 and has an industrial design to it. It is in very good condition for its age, and has its original finish,with some minor scuffing and signs of wear. It is missing one nut on the back(easy to replace) which doesn't affect the use of the desk. It measures 12" x 17" and weighs just under 5 pounds. Vintage Victorian English Needlepoint Fire Screen Wooden Framed Quality Piece This auction is for a beautiful vintage English needlepoint fire screen. It shows an old home in the English countryside. It is in excellent condition other than wear to the wood finish of the frame. It stands 29 inches tall. 18 1/4 inches wide and 10 inches deep at the base. It is framed under glass. The needlepoint itself is in excellent condition. The wooden frame appears to be dark oak. It has wear to the finish that I did not try to clean up. If you want to make it look like new you could put some Howard's Restore A Finish on it and clean up the wood frame. I would leave it as is as I like the vintage patina of the wood. This well made solid Mahogany storage hamper is a heavy piece of furniture. It sits on 4 round feet and the lid lifts to reveal storage plus there is a drawer(that works on rollers) on the side of the hamper. It measures 26” high. Length is 28" Great condition for its age. It has a few minor scratches, and water marks on the removable tray. The big wheels need a little fixing. They are crooked when it moves, you can see in pictures. Small wheels are wooden too, holding up nicely they do have minor wear. Glass tray is in good condition.
